How would you survive a Zombie Apocalypse

Post » Sun Jan 03, 2010 7:39 pm

So are you going to take all his guns or just the good ones?

just enought to keep our team armed with a few extra for anyone one who shows up at the base.

and i have to go take a shower because im leaving for Washington DC in the morning so i will be back in about 20minutes, im leaving it up to rmctagg09 and deadspartan24 to manage stuff about the stronghold for me.

well his plan will probabaly be find a military base and get out, or go find his redneck hunting buddies and hold out somewhere, and anyways, he has 300+ guns, he knows who i am and likes me, so i dont think he have a problem with me taking what he needs from his overfilled shed of deadly weapons. and id tell him that we're holding out in my shop so he would get any ideas about us leaving him there along while we head to the tortugas.

Well he's obviously got skills. Why wouldn't you take him along? His wife probably knows how to cook, and his kids would probably be used for bait later on anyway, so why not take the entire garage of guns and the family? You're kinda shorting yourself here ya know. ;)

ummmmm he probabaly couldnt even run for longer than 10 seconds, hes the kind of cop that does absolutely nothing, he is very...obese. and his wife is annoying as hell, and so are the kids which are 13, 7, and 5. so not taking them along. and his wifes cooking is horrid, i can cook much better.....but that probably because i grew up in a restaurant :P

Spork the Slightly Insane and maybe others are going to get a boat, come down the Mississippi, and meet us at the Tortugas.

What kind of zombies are we talking about? The slow "headshot only" Romero and Max Brooks zombies? Or the fast "infected person" Rage virus zombies?

Assuming fast (most realistic) and that I'm at my Dad's house:

1. Barricade the house. Board up the windows/doors and push furniture against them.
2. Load the guns. My dad has an M9 Beretta, a .870 pump shotgun, and a 12 gauge auto-loader shotgun.
3. Hold out until the zombies overrun town (unlikely, this is Ft. Leavenworth. Army bases don't get overrun easily), the army drives the zombies back, or an evac is set up.

If we had to flee, we (Me, dad, and my brother) would be all set. My dad's really outdoorsy, so he has tons of survival gear. Also, we have guns (if possible, we'd hit the armory at the range, there's cooler stuff like Mp5s and Ak47s)

We're talking about the slow ones. I like the fast ones better.

for those coming to the tortugas, i have just struct gold for helping us obtain food, zoom in on this http://www.reisenett.no/map_collection/National_parks/Dry_Tortugas94.jpg and look at the labels on parts of the water, it tells where all the good fishing is and other things, im thinking that we set up the quarantine zone on east key since its far away from the base, there was also an old marine research laboratory on loggerhead key, it was shutdown in 1939 but there should still be something there we could use.

heres another map that shows the islands better http://www.nps.gov/drto/parkmgmt/upload/DRTO%20RNA%20Map%20final%203-8-07.jpg.

I've updated my http://parham6.persiangig.com/ZombieSheet.jpg. The link is still the same...

No your not I'm the real OP <_<
If look at the first post of the first thread then you'll see me as the OP

Look at the First & Second(Locked) topic... I'm the one who started this.

What program am I supposed to make that sheet in? I can't use paint worth [censored].

Edit it with photoshop. Or do you want me to send you a blank one?

Actually he kinda was. But that thread got locked because of flaming and you carried this on.
Who cares anyway

^ Yeah! Who cares?!

I'm glad to see a thread I started only a few days ago has already gotten to thread 5 :)

I'M [censored] SURPRISED!!!

Yes, of course you'll just attract more zombies with the music, but that means more fun!

We'll see!

Noise would attract Zombies if they could hear. Specially since my music would be echoed by the walls of the mountains.

And we've been talking about the Zombies that are slow and would be more realistic, since they're rotting corpses; not just someone with a severe case of the "Flu".

rmctagg09, you need to update the list, add spork the slightly insane to the florida list, and also whoever is not on the list (go check) state where you want to be placed again so he can update it easier, if you want to start a stronghold give a good reason why, and have a good place to put it, basically have alll your bases covered.

Ridiculous, California's Zombies are much more grouped together and in more urban settings. Your zombies are too spread out and will never be cleaned up faster than us here in California. Plus you don't have some badass music to jam to like we do in California, while ridding the Merry-Go-Round, Paintball with a Zombie, and many more games.

It just means that when you think you're safe and you think you've cleared an area out, that more will just come and thus eat more of your pals. :P

I'll be busy riding the Merry-Go-Round that's equipped with ridable zombies. :celebration:
