How would you survive a Zombie Apocalypse

Post » Sun Jan 03, 2010 11:59 pm

Launching nuke... Probably easier to sink California into the ocean though :P

Kids don't know how to properly operate a nuclear warhead, and would probably just end up nuking a part of texas or themselves in the process. :P

Oh, will you sell zombie legs and zomcorn as snacks?

Nah, Zombies are only used for entertainment and sport at the Carnival. Snacks will be the same goodness from before the zombies hit.

It just means that when you think you're safe and you think you've cleared an area out, that more will just come and thus eat more of your pals. :P

I'll be busy riding the Merry-Go-Round that's equipped with ridable zombies. :celebration:

Oh yeah, well, California is um....leave me alone!

It's okay. Your name is "Fail Good" after all. :P (Sorry, had to do it. Couldn't help it.) You can always visit the Carnival though if you'd like?

Yeah, but most nuclear missile places are hard to find, and usually have heavy robot defenses that can lock down the doors.... it's a whole process, and by the time you actually reach the firing deck, the system will be useless since the computer system rightly named HAL9000, has already locked it down with an ultra secret code not found in any text book but the minds of the already killed off staff.

Yeah I have actually. When I was a kid though.

We'd do it punk style though. Our Humvee's would be decked out with barbed wire, tire peg-spikes and all sorts of badass Punk stuff. :mohawk:

yeah, we will need alot of people to keep it functional and working, i would say a staff of ohh maybe 15 people doing maintainence and about 8 guards to keep the peace. but of course we only have 6 people until Spork finds out who all is coming with him.

EDIT: at all cost, we cannot let it become a refugee camp, only forumers and their direct family (mothers, fathers, children, siblings and grandparents), along with important govenrment officials if they are still alive and we find them are allowed access, and unless the military busts the front gates down and marches a battalion in on us we cannot give up the fort, it has to remain under our control.

Sorry, the ferris wheel was too much, and I couldn't think of a decent way of incorporating Zombies into working with the ferris wheel. So no ferris wheel at the carnival.

Nah, the Humvee's would be our protectorate vehicles.

We'd use a couple http://defense-update.com/images_new1/Cougar_6x6_flatbed_wolfhound.jpg with the flatbed in the back to load up the zombies we capture and take back to the Carnival. We'd also have a few Cougar's for when we go into the big cities, and have to smash through some thick crowds of zombies, and deploy.

(Bet you all wish you knew how to drive a Cougar, don't ya! :P)

that would be impossible, we would have a 24 hour watch posted on top of the fact that the fort is 65 miles west of the southern most point in the US (Key West) in the middle of the ocean with no means of reaching it by land, so unless the zombies can swim 65 miles out into the middle of nowhere and successfully make it there in one peice, then make it past our guards, and not get their head blown of by a R700 sniper rifle, then they could infiltrate our camp, but anyways anyone who comes to out fort will be quarantined for 72 hours on east key under continuous watch.

but if they did manage to infiltrate the camp, we would exterminate them within 15 minutes then burn the bodies along with keeping everyone under partial quarantine to check for infection, if someone was infected, they would be taken to one of the keys nearby, shot and burned, no one who is infected is spared until the base on texel finds the cure not even me.

Survival Sheet:
Last Words: Now why would there be a zombie hiding inside kitchen cabinets...
Sidekick: My family. Barring their Survival, whatever random mongrel I come across and adopt

Location: Maryland
Stronghold: My house or Lakehouse. If those two fail, I'm going to Texas to join up with Verlox
Transportation: Biggest Non-Semi I can find with 4 wheel Drive with home-made zombie killing attachments

Upper Body Wear: Jacket(Cold weather), Long Sleeve shirt all the time
Lower Body Wear: Jeans, Fast Running shoes
Headgear: Bucket Hat, Mirrored Sunglasses

Main Weapon: 30.30
Back-up weapon: .357 Mag/Crowbar

Inventory: Axe, Food, Lighter, Cigarettes, Bottled Water
Anthem: Monster by Skillet

On another note, Please add me to the Texas Stronghold Group. If my first two plans fail, or I'm unable to make it to them, Thats where I'm going.

add this on the end of the paragraph of what the florida survivors will do.

Spork the Slightly Insane will try to contact other forumers in the north, they will meet up in louisville and commandeer a casino boat, they will take it down the Mississppi river picking up other forumers on the way, then they will take shrimping boats from harbors at New Orleans. They will sail this boat down the coast of Florida until they near the town of Fort Myers, then they will head SW towards the Dry Tortugas and meet up with the Florida Survivor group there.

and also add the name of the leader of each stronghold next to the name of the stronghold for example

Texas Stronghold Leader---Verlox

yew, but vegetables are incomplete proteins, you would also have to have different food sources. you need a balanced diet to stay healthy, you would need at least something from each of the food categories, because if you dont have something from each you'll have problems, like brittle bones and bad muscle function from lack of calcium, scury from lack of vitamin c, and immune system trouble from lack of complete proteins. and since we will be isolated for a long time we need to solve that problem.

so growing vegetables, what else? maybe livestock? goats, cattle, chickens (would be very easy to keep).

ohh and incase of absolute emergency, such as the virus going airborne, we will all evacuate to antartica, its to cold there for the virus to be active, and its very very isolated, theres plenty of penguins to eat along with fish, and we could dig shelters into the ice and snow. and melt the snow for water. but this is a last option thing, and still an idea.

yeah, but its all about lack of space, for instance on the Dry Tortugas there is alot of space in the fort but its needed space, we could only plant a few very small crops and maybe have 2 cattle, and 1 chicked coop. and because of the lack of feed we would have to raid to get feed for the animals, so thats a no go.
