Morrowind: 1) Elyssa Halaya, Dunmer female. Raised somewhere on the Skyrim/Cyrodiil border, ran off to the Imperial City at a young age. Fell in with a gang of self-proclaimed witch hunters who were actually a band of thugs. Elyssa took it all very seriously. She got into alchemy and was very proud of her healing potions. Unfortunately, she wasn't as good at alchemy as she thought, and poisoned a client. While it was technically manslaughter rather than murder, the authorities didn't care and let her rot in jail until the order to send her to Morrowind. Elyssa was delighted, as she'd always wanted to see her "ancestral homeland", and promptly did her best to become more Dunmer than the Dunmer.
2) Melario Indarys, Dunmer male. Raised in the Imperial City and thought of himself as a citizen of the Empire first, Dark Elf a distant second. Very sweet-natured and easy-going, but easily manipulated. Fell in with a bad crowd, did a little hell raising. Did a LOT of hell raising. Got caught in a brawl. Witnesses swore up and down that Melario struck the first blow, and he was (as usual) out of cash. Into jail he went until the orders. Melario had never given Morrowind a moment's thought before, but exile is better than prison, right? Drifted a bit until he decided impulsively to join House Redoran, whereupon he embraced his Blades cover as Perfect Redoran--something that would have startled those who knew him at a younger age.
Oblivion: 1) Sella, Dunmer female. Such a goody-goody that I have no idea how she ended up in prison. Probably threw a fireball at the wrong time and figured it was all part of the Nine's divine plan.
2) Gilvas Andrano, Dunmer male. Extremely bitter and burned out former Ordinator. Did NOT take kindly to being called "ashpit" by a bunch of outland scum. 'Nuff said.
