I've just read yet another chain of comments that stemmed from the ol' "I was sarcastic" argument.
How do you express sarcasm in your comments? Now, making sarcastic replies are relatively easier; I simply use short exaggerated sentences to convey a withering tone as such: 'Sure. Do it. I'm sure everyone would be astonished by your XXX'. Making a sarcastic first comment seems to be harder, I tend to use lots of farfetched and overblown words, and maybe with a tard expression at the end like 8D (its a smiley, not really a popular one).
Some people just go something like 'His singing's so fake, he must be using auto-tune...' and then when confronted with the absurdity of their comment(it was an old video, there definitely wasn't any auto-tune) they go 'can't you understand sarcasm?'
Wasn't involved in any of that though, just felt that the comment had nearly zero sarcasm in it. Im betting some people just use it as an excuse for their past foolishness that they're unwilling to admit to.
