Funny video done by Harry Partridge. A little old, but I haven't seen it on here.

That video has easily 20 threads...

When I heard about Skyrim, I put down the needles and went to the internet to confirm.

First time I found out was when I went on Facebook one morning and saw a friend of mine posted a video of the Skyrim trailer and I thought it was going to be another one of those Rick Rolled videos but watched it anyway. I couldn't sleep that night.

I quite literally was sitting on the edge of my couch, holding my breath, and trying to pick my jaw up off the floor when I heard the chanting, the music, saw the monks, and then Todd Howard walked onto the stage at the VGA's.

I almost crapped myself from excitement when he finally said those magic words. I was so so so so so sooooooooooooooooooooooo happy!

I was like... Oh.. Skyrim.. Thats nice. Then suffered from a major heart-attack that almost claimed my life, but then while I was dreaming I remembered that if I die there'll be no Skyrim in the afterlife, so I jumped right out of the hospital bed and preordered about 10 months early.

I was particularly enthusiastic at first. Especially because I was one of the saps hanging around the TES series forums begging for even the slightest whiff of a confimation for a year beforehand. Haha.

Glad that Bethesda was finally going to release another TES game, although I can't say I was the least bit surprised.

I sat in my room infront of my computer rewatching the trailer againe and againe. This can't be true I thought? But it was and is. So now, now we play the waiting game *evil hand pyramid of contemplation* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7EzFgYTjIU&feature=player_embedded

I found out when I decided to visit the forums again and accidentally noticed there was a Skyrim forum now. I think I found out around January. I was feeling like I knew the series wasn't going to be abandoned, even though some people were wondering about that.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JVQwti0zlg sums up the feeling I had when I first heard about Skyrim -- in 4 seconds.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPnvr68j2tQ is also how I felt in the span of one minute and 7 seconds!

It was as if all the pain the world had been converted to sheer bliss and an impending feeling of everlasting serenity. The universe itself commemorated the event as all facets of my being down to my very soul rejoiced in the grandeur and majestic royalty of the event. All of it culminated in a moment during which I transcended above all mortal thought and consciousness into a peak state of nirvana and perfection.

Now, back in the real world, I was honestly quite excited that I believe I was jumping up and down when it happened (saw it live on Spike) with my heart racing.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEtRoZ5FWNc is how I was, I was literally sitting on the edge of my chair with my mouth hanging open when I saw the Oblivion symbol on the wall, I immediately knew.... Then I had the goofiest smile ever for the entire night & when I told some friends. I just couldn't believe it when I saw it. I was expecting Todd to announce more Fallout stuff

I was surfing around the net as usual that day.
Every once and a while id stop by Here or UESP to see if any new news had surfaced.
That day had been particularly boring so i figured id google TES 5. I was fully expecting to see crappy fan made trailers, Poorly done fan made "Screenshots" and even crappy er speculation.
To my great surprise (and even greater joy) I saw some very official looking links for SKYRIM Announcement Trailer and Spike VGA Skyrim Announcement.
I clicked on the first one i saw.
When the Bethesda Game Studios logo came on I could feel it in my bones that something big was coming, And as soon as the voice in the trailer said "The Elder Scrolls told of their return" I KNEW that my Near-Mad wait for the next game in the TES series was over. I Was Ecstatic that entire night. I came back to the forums after nearly a two year absence, and after creating a new user profile (because i couldn't remember the name or password of my old Oblivion Era profile) I joined in with all the other fans who LOVE this game series. now even after all the things i have herd or seen I'm still as exited as the day I first saw the announcement trailer.

At first, I wasn't so excited because I hadn't seen much. Only an old nord narrating a wall and shouting stuff. But when I began to do research, that's when it started to get to me. And now I'm drudging this upcoming month and a half wait till my pre-order gets here.
