how do you fix personality that's in red

Post » Wed Aug 26, 2009 12:12 pm

I was playing a mod and had to take off all my armor and rings. When I did that and went to look at my stats I noticed my personality was in red. I went to a chapel to cure just in case I had a disease. Well it's still in red. Is there any way to raise it, and can I find out what's making it lower then normal? I also checked and didn't see anything in my constant effects either.

EDIT: sorry this might be in the wrong section

So just having them in your inventory will do that? I'll have to check. I all ways forget about things that mess with attributes by just having them in your inventory. I've also noticed I have two other attributes in green. Which is no big deal

it's still red and now my agility is red. I guess I have to go through and see what else I have that can drain attributes.

I'm assuming you have the UOP since you post a lot in the mods section, so try using UOP's broken stat fix option.

Restore (insert damaged Attribute) Potion. Unless you have the Scales of Pitiless Justice. You cannot restore attributes at a chapel altar. Two points of Personality, iirc, was never that big of a deal to lose for a lot of my characters, until the current one.

Green numbers means that one of your attributes is being buffed by an enhancement, whether it be a magical ring or armor or whatever, that boosts one or more of your attributes.

First try what mpls Big Daddy suggested to make sure your attributes aren't simply damaged from a poison or spell. If they are still in red then if you have UOP installed, go into your inventory and click on the UOP menu key in your misc items. Then exit your invo and wait a couple of seconds for the UOP utility menu to pop up. One of the options in that menu will be to fix broken stats. I suggest unequipping everything off your character before doing so, so that any fortify attribute enchants & such won't interfere.

Edit: the UOP menu key will likely be at or near the very bottom of your inventory list.

And if you can't find the menu key item (it's not in my inventory, so it was probably removed in the Supplemental versions), use the console command "startquest uop."
