accidentally removed the minuteman hat from preston, which prompted me to ask this because i couldnt get him to wear it again.

also, his weapon seems fixed??

ie. its not in his inventory so he cant use any other than the laser rifle thingy

also, seeing the supply line settlers dieing thread made me think i might need to gear mine up so i need to know how. i thought they were marked 'essential' though??

There's a separate button to make them equip stuff
