How do you get custom races to "age"

Hi, I have a question.

Most custom races don't "age" at all, because they don't have the extra .dds files attached to the face. My question is two fold.

1. How do you name/place said files to get custom races to age using the age slider?

2. Did anyone ever make a High-res version?

I have natural faces installed but increasingly those look decidedly low-res against more recent custom races (this may just be my perception).

I use Improved Facial Textures for the age textures and install Enayla's New Face Textures (orc 1) on top of it.

thanks for the link, my question was also how you get custom face textures to recognise the "age maps" itf that is the correct term? I.e. do you just need to place the files in the appropriate folder, or do they need to be renamed as well? I would have assumed the latter.

They need to be in the same folder as the race's face texture and named the same. If your race uses "headhobgoblin.dds" for instance, you'd need "headhobgoblinF10.dds", "headhobgoblinM10.dds" etc etc.

You just need to add age textures that match the name of the head file. Some custom races (i.e., Cap's Aquamer and Ren's Mystic Elves) have age textures, maybe most do, I don't really know for sure. However, you can see the age maps naming by looking in the Textures\Characters\Imperial folder.

So, next question:

Anyone know a good batch renaming tool, by any chance? :(
