How do you get Patch when it does come.

Title says it all, i didnt get any alerts or any thing when my PS3 logged on line. If anyone got the last one did you search it out online? I hear its not to good anyway and is more for loosing your companions (Which i have had no worries with) . I am really enjoying the game and had no worries with it for weeks bar it freezing on trying to go into one particular substation, it just refused to let me in. (Which of corse made me want to go in there) Then out of the blue if started freezing all the time. I noticed the amount of outstanding uncompleted side quests was huge and went on the war path with those and it seemed to make the freezing less freqent. But it freezes 100% of the times if i try to go into the wrangler casino in freeside. Hope i dont need to go back there. Im hoping the patch will be good (take your time guys make it a goodie (: ) I really look forward to the patch , i just wana be ready to down load it when it is ready and know as soon as it is avilable, Cheers Jamie.

my PS3 is connected to the internet through my router.

whenever I load a game into it, it automagically checks online (some pre-determined server set in the startup of the disc im assuming) for the latest patch.

However if your PS3 is not connected online, I dont know how you can patch the game.

there won't be any dlc releasd for te ps3 for some time, as the 360 has an exclusive time-based agreement with bethh/obsidian (meaning they get it first until whatever time limit they have is over, then the ps3 and pc gets it). the new patch still hasn't come out yet and when it does, if you're connected to the internet, it will automatically download when you start the game up. watch the forums and you'll know when a new patch comes out.

The only DLC PS3 has is the preorder things you might have gotten.

At this point I think that the "Timed Exclusivity" deal with M$ is actually all about ensuring people will buy on the system. FO3 sold exponentially better on the PS3 and PC if I remember correctly. I would believe, without bias, that the original deal was due to Bethesda thinking that the PS3 was not going to survive and so they didn't wish to waste time on a non-selling system. After the world realized that the PS3 not only was going to survive but slowly grow to dominance they released the DLCs on PSN. Now I believe that they know that the 360 is a...lets say, less than premium revenue force, and wish to ensure that they sell SOMETHING to the users of that platform.
