Small guns, everything gets chucked in one locker, unarmed is bloody useless.

That's me :D

I have been playing less than 5 months on the PS3. I love small guns more than anything. H2H is fairly useless to me (except DC Gauntlet). I store weapons and armor in one locker and all other junk in another. I keep all of the skill books in the filing cabinet next to my bed. I put all power armors on the metal racks in the back and weapons all over the place.

I've been playing since about a month after it was released. I play it on PC. I find hand to hand combat very useful. If you get your unarmed to 100 first before reading any skill books, or getting the bobblehead you can have an unarmed skill of close to 200, because unarmed is the only skill that doesn't stop improving at 100. mix that with paralyzing palm, and you can nearly one hit kill a deathclaw bare handed. Bare hands are actually more powerful then knuckle dusters, and power fists when you have your skill at its highest, and you don't need to worry about repairing your bare fists :) My favorite combat skill is unarmed with small guns coming in a close second followed by melee. I do spend a lot of time decorating my home where ever that may be.

Well, I voted how I played before my 360 died, so I can't play F3 anymore and just haven't gotten aroundd to getting it fixed. Oh, and there is no way I'm buying the PS3 version because apparently its buggy as the rainforest.

My answers:
Since it came out.
Xbox 360.
No, unarmed isn't useful to me.
Small guns.
Yes.

i like to sneak, trade laser rifles for frags, and turn things into goo with the MPLX Novasurge. In my suite at Tenpenny, booze water and nuka in the fridge, junk in the footlocker)with an ashtray and pack of cigarettes on top_, some outfits in the wardrobe, weapons in the locker, and food in the little desk. i have the wasteland explorer theme, with keepsakes like the antagonizers and mechanists costumes on the bench. my bed is filled with pre war money, teddy bears, alien crystals and cartons of cigarettes right next to the naughty nightwear. i have all my big custom armors laid out on the floor near the medical station, and some alien weaponry on the workbench. I also keep an armed plasma mine at both entrances just in case. Oh yeah, and Burke's headless body is crumpled in the corner next to a random tenpenny security guard(head still in tact)

I play ps3, it's never bugged out majorly on me. O_O" my ps3's pretty old, so it's crashed due to overheating maybe four times, but the game itself isn't buggy. I thought the xbox one was! The wiki nearly always has the xbox symbol next to the bugs on stuff.

Xbox 360
Yes, since I play major Role-Play :P, when my gun breaks (I limit myself to one primary gun, one secondary, knife, ect), I use hand to hand.
Small Guns
No, because I use what ever I can find out in the wastes to be my home. :D

Eh. I have combat very easy because I'm a lazy bastard. I spend my time digging around, collecting Pre-War Money, Flour, Metro Tickets, and pre-war mint condition toasters, and the unusual sized Intact Garden Gnomes.

My combat gear are 'Combat Armor, Chinese Assault Rifle and either Combat helmet and Biker goggles, or Bandana' for headgear.

been playing for about 2 years now
I do employ unarmed mainly for Radroaches although it skeeves me to think I'm getting my hands all goo'd up with Radroach juice......
As I've said many times I'm a stealth assassin...small guns and particularly the Dart Gun being my fave
As far as my Megaton house goes....Weapons manufacturing parts in the first locker...unique and some other essential weapons in the opposite locker....edible and drinkable items only in the fridge (especially my Nuka Cola stash) ...upstairs desk is for some unique items collected on my many missions (berry Mentats) along with Prewar money, various Metro tickets ....file cabinet is for personal (from my days in The Vault) and unique items collected on my many missions (Poplar's Hood, Naughty Nightwear etc...)

I got introduced to Fallout 3 by a few friends of mine, and since it was from the makers of Oblivion, I thought it'd be pretty good. I play it on the 360, though I WANT to try it for the PC, considering all the mods and neat stuff you can do to modify your game...(I hear you can put mods on your 360 via a flash drive in to your 360...dunno if that works XD )

I like using moderate to big weapons; small weapons sort'a bother me, and melee weapons are hardly ever used. I don't like hand-to-hand much :/ And I DON'T waste my caps on my house XD THAT'S for sure...

Small Arms mostly, I just prefer conventional weapons over portable nuke launchers. :tops:

I Agree That Hand To Hand combat is usless unless your enjoyment from fallout come from watching the slow mo Death Screens As your head rolls away or you go flying into the air. Plasma Weapons FTW :ninja:

I've been playing since release. "Hand to Hand" otherwise known as unarmed, is easily one of the most powerful ways of dealing with an enemy as long as you pick up the Paralyzing Palm perk. I've taken down a Behemoth with this perk and my trusty spiked knuckles. Not to mention that if you use this perk when dealing with Reavers, it's just a cakewalk. I use Eugene and the knuckles, with occasional dabbling with the Double Barreled Shotgun.

I can proudly say I've been playing Fallout 3 since its release date, and haven't ever stopped. :) Since then, I've played both on 360 and PS3, but I play almost exclusively 360 now because the DLCs are a mess on PS3 -- or at least I saw it that way.

Unarmed can be useful, I think, when dealing with tough enemies like Reavers, but I never personally use it. Though, I must say, I really want to start just so I can use this 'Fisto!' weapon. Looks veeery satisfying.

In my opinion, all gun categorys are great. Though, at my character's peak, he tends to stick with Big Guns like Vengeance and Eugene, simply becauase with the right perks, you can have them doing 300+ damage... and they look great with Wintersized T-51b. A3-21's Plasma Rifle is my back up, and it has never failed me. :)

To be honest, I don't have the patience to decorate my house. Most things just get stuffed in a locker. I'll usually by a theme, get a few house items, put special weapons on display and then be done with it.
For some reason, I found decorating much more fun in Oblivion.

I started playing FO3 about six weeks after it was released.

I love Unarmed. It is loads of fun and very effective. It's my favorite combat skill. Melee is as much fun, but not as deadly; the perks for Unarmed are really great, although I only use PP on Reavers.

Energy Weapons and Small Guns are my favorite ranged weapons skills and I decide which to use based on what weapons I want to carry on a particular character.

I played on the 360 until last Thanksgiving and then moved to the PC.

I got the game maybe a week after it came out because my brother in law rented it and played it at my house once after playing it for an hour i knew i had to get the game.

I play the PS3 version since i did'nt have a 360 when i got it, and even if i did i probaly still would've gotten the PS3 version since i bought my 360 used from a family member then found out that the laser seems to be going out on it refusing to read discs that have even a small scartch on them.

The only time i use unarmed would be after i get a pair of spiked knuckles then i use them to take out enemies that are just to weak to waste ammo on, such as mole rats, dogs, ants, and bloat flys.

For the first part of the game i use small guns since thats what most enemies use then making spare parts and ammo plentiful, but about halfway though when enclave outposts are set up i'll switch to mostly energy weapons as ammo and parts become easier to obtain.

I don't spend a lot of time in my house mainly just dropping stuff off or picking something up, and during the few times when i decide to clean my storage of stuff im not using, other then that the only other time i return would be to sleep for the well rested perk or get rid of any rads i have with my infirmiry.

I preordered the Original game for PC, being an old fan of Fallout.

Hand to Hand is useful in a pinch, but tends not to save your neck long haul.
My fave weapons are plasma and other high energy weapons.

I try to sort stored gear in the house into different containers, I store the bobbleheads there as well, no themes though, those are a mess with followers in tow, especially Fawkes.

Got it a month ago (late to the party) but you can't go wrong for $10, even if it's used
Play on PS3
Hand to hand is the pits

My first and ultimate task in this game was to recreate Al Pacino, which I attempted to do. Assuming Al Pacino: small weapons with the dirty businesswear+pre-war hat is the best combo I could think of haha

Generally use houses like crazy, with themes and everything. Store equipment, items, bobbleheads, dogmeat etc.

sneak in, use small guns to eliminate resistance, improvise and adapt to overcome enemies nearby, scavenge on site grenades, use rocket launchers nearby to eliminate large groups before putting all scavenged weapons into a cache closeby. after a few days, go back to the cache and sell all the stuff.

Long time. PS3. Plasma, all the way. Love the Fisto, too. And I just buy the Pre-War theme and forget about it.
