How do you imagine a dragonborn?

Post » Mon Dec 20, 2010 4:48 pm

I must say, I can't imagine him/her being anything else than some great Imperial, Nord, or Redguard warrior.

Imagine a little Wood Elf dragonborn lol

I imagine him being an Argonian, reading the Lusty Argonian Maid at his very expensive desk.

I imagine him being an unlikely hero, as are most who are hand picked by the gods.

I think it actually sets the stage best for the player to be an Argonian or a Dunmer.

I'll hurt myself if Argonians don't look good in Skyrim. I really will. I'll jump off a dragon or something (of course saving before)!

When I say unlikely, I'm not trying to be race-specific, I mean in the sense that those who are picked by the gods are not personally in a position of power, rather they usually tend to be those who are cast aside by society. The lowly.

I imagine him being a middle-aged Nord warrior male who is dirty, smelly, hair unkempt, yellow teeth, arms and legs like tree trunks from all the muscle. But in my story, Vedaa is the opposite of that; 200-year-old Dark Elf sorceress female who is clean, smells like fresh willow anther, white teeth, and thin appendages.

Hmm I kinda imagine him being an ancient Altmer sorcerer of great power, who's been studying magic and learned the secrets of the dragon tounge and that his own blood is draconic.

Impossible.

The looking good part, or the Bosmer killing people...both seem kind of far fetched to me lol

I see him as the following

Tharasn Dalvas: Dunmer who favors blunt and stealth

Faer Dalvas: Dunmer Favors blade and marksman

Markgra Gro-Uzkium: Orc Favors hand-to-hand and heavy armor

Yaken Direeni: Altmer who favors hand-to-hand and blade

Learning and performing the shouts of a dragon has nothing to do with one's stature. A person is a person, no matter how small.

I imagine the Dragonborn being a prisoner who, due to what seems like a coincedence, finds himself (Or herself, for that matter.) part of events he does not fully understand and learns that he has a great destiny to fulfill, as a Dragonborn, the only hope the world has of surviving Alduin's attempt at eating it.

That's all that's been defined about the Dragonborn, after all, beyond that, he is whoever I want him to be, and believe me, it's VERY unlikely that a Nord or Imperial will be that, or any race that isn't Khajiit, Argonian or Orc, for that matter.
