We know most places in first-world countries are pretty much destroyed. But some may have suffered more physically than others. Different numbers of nukes for different regions. A good canon example is DC vs LV. The US capitol city was torn to shreds, while LV survived relatively unharmed (albeit thanks to House). What kind of priority do you think your town had on the nuke list? There's no need to name your town unless you feel it's not a safety issue, or you live in a major city (Chicago, Philly, London, etc).
I live in Fayetteville, which for the uninitiated is right next to Fort Bragg, one of the largest Army bases in the states. Fayetteville would be a big pile of concrete and dirt when the bombs stopped.
