They're all pretty similar. I see no need for the M1 Carbine if we already have the M1 Garand.

Well, I got bored and just looked up high road california on google maps. There were really only two that were relatively close if they used a real world place.

This one actually crosses through what seems to be route 18 in California. It is southwest of the mojave national park.

This one is in a place called San Bernadino national Forest, but it is really small so it wouldn't be on a highway sign.

But, I figure it has some kind of meaning. Such as hopesville and high road.

Listen they may look the same but preformance is a whole other story,The hunting rifle is a bolt action , a major difference from the M1 carbine and Garand which are semi auto, the clip size for the M1 carbine which useally carried a 15-30 round magazine, the hunting rifle is no WW2 gun any way , they had much more advanced weaponry by then, and by the info above the 2 guns are more related by name by look and statistics

OT; Yay, a road. With all due respect--and much appreciation to Deathclaw for digging this up (even if it's a bit old) :thumbsup: --I'll get interested when something more...tangible comes along.

It's not particularly interesting. A screenshot of Ulysses would have been tons better, to see how well his concept has been realized. I am somewhat worried about it due to the difference between Raul's concept art and the game, but hopefully Chris Avellone won't let rushed art design ruin the character. Also, it's revealed that they aren't going to quit juxtaposing good things with the grimness of the Divide at naming the town Hopeville.

Look at the screenshot. You can clearly see that a freeway has collapsed on top of the lower road, which in turn in collapsed in certain parts. It was a horrible pun, which I did the :sadvaultboy: .
