I run I take in the atmosphere. I sneak when necessary, like if I see a Deathlord and I want to look at the area and plan an attack. I sprint when I am hauling to the exit or though places i know are clear.

I always sneak through dungeons; it's just my nature. I find it incredibly difficult to play a big warrior who doesn't sneak because it's just so against my nature. I figure, if I was in a dungeon, I'd sure as hell be careful and not attract attention to myself so that I could survive. I suppose I just can't get passed my instinct.
I sneak as well. I sneak when walking in the world, too. I hate being ambushed... it's hard enough for me to figure out where jerks are at... sneaking gives me just a little bit of help.
I sneak when I traverse dungeons. Firstly, my character is a rogue so sneaking is his forte. It allows for precision bow attacks or up close backstabs with no chance of me getting hurt. Another important fact is that I can actually gauge the situation before rushing in if I have to break out of sneak for say an attack on a small group of bandits.
I sneak around, making sure there aren't any spiders/other things that freak me out in this game ahead. If there are, I conjure two dremora lords and let them take care of it.
I use the Darker Dungeons mod, so sneaking is kind of a requirement now otherwise I either miss something valuable, or walk right into something deadly. Oh, and I also need to use torches now, which is kind of cool.
I sneak to avoid fights as often as possible, relying on stealth and illusion spells to remain undetected. A good bard should be able to solve any situation without combat. Too bad the zero kill option is not possible in this game but Lydia is here to fight in my place.
On my mage I just run in and start blasting. No point in sneaking since any spell I cast gives me away, I prefer to just open up with a nice fireball or summon an atronach in the middle of all the baddies. It's a ton of fun.
O my assassin, well of course I sneak. He's too frail to go toe to toe with more than one enemy at a time so I stick to arrows from the shadows and backstabs.
