The topic title pretty much says everything.

Pickpocket him, click on your items to transfer them to the target. Simple as that. :P

With something like dynamite or plastic explosives you have to first set the timer for it to have any effect.

That is indeed a lot of fun. Especially on children... :flame:

Fallout 2 MQ Spoiler :
Spoiler
Giving beer to Frank Horrigan before the battle makes things much easier. I can picture the scene with your character and Frank drinking beer, having a chat. Of course your beer is actually water so you can have the main advantage in the battle to come. ;)

You can do that? :o

Amazingly enough I never had problems with that guy.

Spoiler
I never turned the turrets on him, but I do always recruit the Enclave Soldiers. I go to a corner on the far end of the room before provoking him so that his attacks aren't so devastating. The Enclave Soldiers handle the turrets for the most part and I hammer away at Horrigan.

Last time I played, I even still had one of the little guys left! He was out of ammo so he was punching Horrigan. What a wonderful sight to see.
:)

All my fancy big shiny powerful weapons were for naught - I actually killed him with the .223 pistol. :D

Is it possible to use Jet, beer, mentats and stuff on Horrigan so that his stats drop like hell and you can beat him without counterattacks?

I only played through the Fallout 2 MQ once, but how do you actually get the opportunity to give him the beer? If memory serves correctly he started pummelling me as soon as I got in sight.

Yeah...I believe he found you as soon as you got within 5 hexes or so of him.

Maybe if you use the
Spoiler
turrets, the Enclave soldiers, or both
, if you can get him to attack THEM, you can sneak up on him and use the items. Not a good idea to do it when he's firing at YOU, though. I always try to maintain a fair distance from him so that the damage he does per attack is as low as 30.
