How do you roleplay on a forum

Hey... I've always thought scales are exotic and, dare I say, attractive. And not every female needs to be busty to be attractive.

Fur would just get all over the furniture and make a mess.

Hey, Fur is hot and exotic. Lukewarm scales are just squick. And I believe Argonian hybrids are physically impossible...
As for khajiit hybrids, though lore doesn't truly support them, only the Zeterra family has obvious hybrids. The few Khajiit/redguard character blanks I have are almost indistinguishable from their mother's race.

Some people like their women hairy. Take the French for example.

Who wants to bet this tangent went completely over EPICFAIL's head?

I'm entirely sure it did. He just puts so much efort into blatantly trolling that he may have burnt out a few brain-cells.

As for hairy women... It's not a bad thing... It just isn't a good thing either. On the other hand you can't find scaly women all that often, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that scales are just WAY too cool to turn down. Of course I'd prefer something between Morrowind and Oblivion style lizard-women. Digitigrade but upright, with just a little bust... Though it would be more of a "female crest area" than an actual bust... *thinks*

What is the eexplanation for Argonians having busts in Oblivion? Gettiong progressively more human as they lick the tree?

Personally, I don't see why anybody would have qualms about Khajiit women. After all, there's a difference between hair, and fur.

Maybe too many people felt Argonians needed more lovin'.

My only qualms with Khajiit (all of them) is the fact that they likely shed... Which means I will be spending a bit moe time cleaning the fur off y clothes.. and floor.. and furniture... I happen to like fur, it's just high-maintenance.

And Argonians didn't need all the lovin' they were given. Just being more upright (and retaining inability to wear boots or closed helms) would have been enough thank you very much.

More likely done that way because some idiots wouldnt be able to distinguish between genders unless there was a pair of briasts involved.

Repltiles shed a full body of skin.

You obviouls have never owned a LARGE reptile. Large lizards flake pieces off at a time, not lose a whole body. And usually this is either slow continuous process akin to humans, or a short process confined to a month or two. Which means that it's a lot less annoying.

Only snakes shed a full body of skin at once regularly. Or rather they're the only oines GUARANTEED to do it.

Some of the largest repytiles (crocodiles and such) actually shed minimal amounts of skin, as their scales grow with them, IIRC anyway... though my knowledge of crocodiles is mostly second-hand.

In an attempt to save this highly amusing thread, I am bringing this back to EPICFAIL's most recent inquiry: Since lore pretty much says the Argonians are infertile with all races, a half-argonian Breton is out of the question. Now, as for a breton raised by argonians, he would probably be driven bat-[censored] crazy by the Hist Sap Argonian's worship and are immune to the negative effects of. However, if he was raised by non-Hist argionians, how would he be different from any other breton other than the uniqueness of his name?

Aw, you guys're talking about me, huh?

As for Khajiit.. erm.. loving, they're debatable in reality, but I assume that some kinds can. And I doubt they shed all that much. Though the idea of a man getting caught cheating because his one-night-stand left some of her fur in his bed is an amusing thought. Heh..
Anyway, Argonians, because of their nature of being coldblooded, are generally accepted as being unable to breed with other races. As for their busts, TES3 is the only game to my knowledge to have them without (I know Arena has them for the scaly females, so it's not just Beth lazies in OB), so I can only assume them to be some odd sort of half reptilian half mammalian, with exception of the Morrowind variety.

Slightly different weapon propensities? A different outlook on life? He's raised by a tribal (and spiritual) race... Do you think he's going to be like any other Bretons? I think he'd probably be in better shape, with more training in weapons (particularly spears) and a propensitty for Mysticism and middle-weight armors.

In short... He's an argonian with diffent racial abilities.

Who is to say that a Breton raised by Argonians would even take part in the hist licking ceremony? As far as I can tell, that is reserved for only argonians. Anyways, I think that would be a cool character concept. The Breton if raised in the Black Marsh may take up certain little quirks that his argonian parents have. Interesting...

Discussing the physiological aspects of the races is quite helpful for RP purposes anyway.

Hmmm...

Another thought about a Breton raised by Argonians... Think they might develop a bit of a resistance to disease themselves? If they were raised in Black Marsh that is...

Why "Plem"... It just doesn't seem to fit anything in TES. Beside that...

Whatever you like do. So long as it isn't entirely ridiculous (see The Jerk)

Because RP, by it's very nature, needs a Lore correct representation. Beast-men have "alien" names. Nords have "I'm-Not-Weak" appelations. Imperials have names straight out of the history books. Altmer, Bosmer, and Dunmer have naming conventions well established. Orsimer venerate their immediate relatives, taking their names as part of their own.

And Bretons are (sometimes considered unfortunately) french. By the nature of RP'ing you are attempting to "fit in" to the lore. Not that "Plem" is a bad name... Just that it doesn't sound like it's a TES name.

Plem would make a good nickname though.
