How do you side with NCR?

But can't find the NCR mission start. I believe the mission is called "For the Republic". Where do you begin it?
I want to side with the NCR, but can't figure out how to start the quest chain.

I have finished doing the tasks for all the factions except one, which are the Boomers and I am working on it now. I am about to continue with the whole chip thing and picking a side, but I wanted to first catch up by starting "For the Republic"

Also; how do I lower my reputation with the Legion? I am currently "Unpredictable" but I want to lower it so I can fail "Render Unto Caesar". I obviously realized killing them would work, but I can't find any of their patrols or anything, and going to the Cove or the Fort results in the whole camp raining a flurry of lead upon me and my trusty companions.

Thanks for all future replies!

I think For the Republic starts once you get all the factions aligned with NCR? Even though I finished game as NCR last night I can't remember xD

Go to the NCR Embassy (it's at one end of the Strip) and talk to the guy in charge. Working through his quests will lead you to For the Republic.

 Duh! I'm so dumb. I was going to the Camp McCarran thinking that was the NCR "HQ" and to do quests there. I totally forgot about the NCR Embassy, haven't even been there yet....

Also, is it too late to get the NCR on my side? I already dealt with all the factions and stuff...

Yeah, id like to know too. Is there a point at which it is too late to switch sides before the final showdown? I mistakenly went to side with House cus i couldnt find any NCR quests, and now thanks to a little skirmish with 3 NCR troopers, they aren't on the best of terms with me.
