Hi, guys.
So Skyrim just came out. I never really got into the Elder Scrolls series so I'm playing the Oblivion GOTY edition to serve as an appetizer for Skyrim.
I just started this passed weekend. I'm 9 hours in and at level 3. I'm a Blade now and just got to Anvil.
Soooo... where is this prophet I'm supposed to find. And why isn't the city in ruins?

First go in the Chapel of Dibella. Then go back out and look across the street. You will find the prophet ranting there. I don't want to say more, lest I ruin anything.

And don't get swayed by the interior of the chapel. Continue through.

Am I supposed to progress further into the main quest first? I'm only 20 hours into the game. Am I supposed to activate the DLC's from the main screen somehow? Because the chapel look like it will sway me. Also, that prophet is no where to be seen, inside or outside.

You can turn it on at the start-up menu. Once it is turned on, do not turn it off, as you will lose any dlc equipment.

You do not have to have done any Main quest to begin this side quest.

If it is turned on, and still doesn't work, you may need to hear it from gossiping NPCs. That will add the quest.

Is turning it on, in the options menu? under downloads? mine is grey. I swear i'm doing something wrong here.

I was wondering...if Anvil is attacked, which happens pre-quest, is that why it won't start the Knights of the Nine, because I haven't yet completed all of the Anvil town quests?

you need to (put a check mark) in the .esp for Kotn. before you load up the game.
