How do you think it turned out?

I was thinking about the ends of F3 and New Vegas, and I was wondering what do you think happend to the minor factions there?

If there is aleady a topic about this I apologize and would like this thread locked.

To keep this discussion from becoming a flame war please only have speculation of helping Lyon's BoS throughout everything, including Broken Steel and to make it more of a new country discussion only post about Yes Man or House endings.

I'll start:

New Vegas- (House)
The bulk of their military is made up of Securitron MK2s, with the Boomers acting as an artillary unit, the Followers of the Apocalypse remained the same but with far more influence over the Mojave (having many more members and bases in every settlement), Goodsprings became a much larger settlement, having a lot of crops exported, the Great Khans evacuated the Mojave and formed a great empire to the north (they deserve it IMO), Jacobstown became very well known and eventually a few supermutants joined the New Vegas military (I made that up), the Kings showed their loyalty to New Vegas with attacking the NCR during the Second Battle of the Hoover Dam, House decided they were fine as they were and they eventually made Freeside a safe place, believing in the Courier and House's ideals, Novac was taken over by House's secruritrons to keep it safe from the Legion, after raiding caravans years House approached them with an offer, they were to work for him as a border patrol, checking to see that all who enter New Vegas have either passports or enoug mony to buy one (four hundred caps, I know that's low but that's good IMO) but if they had neither than they were allowed to kill that person, Primm was kept somewhat safe by Primm Slim but it wasn't perfectly safe until House decided to send a dozen securitrons to protect it, and the Westside Militia became the main body of New Vegas's military force, doing what the Securitrons couldn't for years. House found them very useful and invested a large amount of caps to increase their equipment.

This is what I think would make New Vegas a fantastic country.

Fallout 3-
Lyon's BoS continued to give out water, bringing in new recruits which they used to help them completely take over the Capital Wasteland, making it into a country they called the United Regions of the Capital. They abolished the slave trade in Paradise Falls and imprisoned the slavers, they attacked the Outcasts's bases and arrested those who did not get killed, they went around the region arresting all Enclave members and Enclave supporters (Nathan), they arrested all Talon Company mercs. who weren't killed when they fought back, and they arrested Littlehorn and Assosciates for attempting to kill all heroic people of the wasteland. Most who were arrested spent life in prison but all Slavers and Enclave members were exicuted. The Regulators was absorbed by the United Regions of the Capital (URC) as a special police force, tracking down and killing the extremely dangerous people within the region of URC control, Reilly's Rangers were hired many times with helping the URC with areas they were taking over, so much so that they eventually became a branch of their military, and Rivet City Security became the police force within the URC, handling all normal domestic issues and being renamed the URC Police Force. Tenpenny refused the URC's deal with putting six people in PA to guard his tower in exchange for the contracts of all of the help he already hired, when Tenpenny started firing at them with his sniper rifle the busted into Tenpenny Tower, all of the security guards surrendered, and killed Tenpenny and Mr. Burke, taking the security guards into the ranks of the URCPF. Megaton did not want the URC to take over, but after much propoganda spreading by Three Dog they finally agreed to, their town eventually became a lot bigger when Vault 101 opened, making Megaton have two parts, the Crater and the Vault. For years the URC used Three Dog to spread propoganda about them, causing Big Town an Arefu to be happy to join them, they also used Three Dog to tell people of the great Saint Monica's Church to try and eliminate cults, although eventually the Children of Atom was excepted by them as a religion too. The URC had no choice but to exterminate the advlts of the Republic of Dave, they madly shouted about how the URC would be a very useful place to take over while aiming an assault rifle at them. The children were taken to Rivet City, watched over by the people of St. Monica's Church. When the URC found Oasis they decided they would help Harold, so they managed to take his organs and put them into a robot, free from being stuck in a tree Harold was more than happy as to aid the URC being part of a supercomputer connected to all of their soldiers helmets (so they can see who's alive and where, they picked Harold because it is almost exactly the same as the sight he had while part of the tree), although he is not rooted to a single spot like before and still wanders the wasteland.

What do you think?

Ok to me the fo3 seems like an ok story, but i dont think they would arrest most of the ones you listed, for starters if they kept them as prisoners they would need to feed them for an indeterminate time, i would see them more executing most of them especially any slaver from paradise falls and littlehorn and assocs, there is no reasoning behind talon company mercs, we have no idea who's running it but they dont seem be the sort to easily just give up, as prisoners i would see them causing more problems and you would need brotherhood members to set aside as guards, when you would need them on the front line fighting. The outcasts had made it clear they werent interested at all in rejoining and were doing there best to communicate what lyons had done and to get the brotherhood leadership to remove lyons, and they wouldnt go down without a fight, and i dont think they would play well with the brotherhood.

I dont think arefu or bigtown, would complain in wanting any assistance from the brotherhood especially bigtown, as they say, they would go to megaton but they wont take them because its already at its survival limit, and bigtown is basically a death trap, but it could easily become a defendable position, around bigtown the terrain gives it a very good defensible position and from good clear veiws of the landscape, with a little work you turn it into a decent town. I dont see the brotherhood worrying about the republic of dave, its no threat never will be and they dont draw on any rescources from the brotherhood, so i cant see them worry to much, more than likley i could see them making a simple diplomatic gesture, same as what they would with the ex slaves at the washington monument.

Reillys rangers are independant, and i think they would probably get ots of contracts from the brotherhood because of there knowledge of the lay of the land and that fact that they have survived in dc so long, also the same as the regulators they dont effect the brotherhood at all again they are an independant group and are basically the enemy of our enemy is our freind.

If the wastelander tells lyons about burke, then i think tenpenny would probably get treated more as a villian and i could see them taking tenpenny tower as a very defensible outpost, of course depending on whether you choose to let the ghouls in and we know the brotherhood doesnt like ghouls, then that goes to the museum of history, id like to think they would trash it, but i think they would, they dont seem to like ghouls even though they arent a threat if anything they would make excellant allies.

After the incident in springvale, i dont think the brotherhood would look at the church of the atom in a good light, maybe they might not destroy them, but i could see them not letting them expand outside megaton.

I think if they found Oasis i dont know about your version but, i think they would exploit whatever rescources they could get from oasis to regenerate the land and get crops up and growing and i could see them jackbooting their way in, oasis is probably one of the more important locations since its the only sign of life in the wastelands.
