How do you think your Courier died...

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 1:11 am

How do you think your courier died? You think you courier went out in a blaze of glory when a army of legionaries looking for revenge surrounded him after the battle of Hoover Dam. Do you think that your Courier went out on more adventures and eventually settled down and had kids with Cass or whoever and died of old age. Or do you think that after the battle of Hoover Dam he couldn't handle the stress knowing he killed hundreds or thousands of innocent men, women and children when he nuked the NCR or Legion so he killed himself. Make up your own story of how you think your Courier died!

On the toilet in the Lucky 38 at a ripe old age, inspecting a Cats Paw magazine, the last thing he ever heard was a mysterious voice saying 'Upon further inspection, you still have no idea what this is.'

Making Justin one of the many famous, influential people who died on a toilet.

My Courier would die on Caesar's throne, trying to play darts with kids and failing spectacularly. My Praetorian guards would laugh at me and I'll die a miserable excuse of an Emperor.

I'd liked to think that my courier lived too be an old age and settled down in one of the larger towns after the battle of Hoover Dam and the NCR came rolling in too take over.
But then, the Tunnelers arrived from the Divide and my courier went down in a blaze of glory in an attempt to save people.

After driving NCR and Legion out of the Mojave and eliminating house the courier took control of New Vegas. As years passed the Mojave developed into the safest most comfortable living in the Mojave. After restoring House's mainframe and life support the courier faded from the wasteland but remained the ever watchful eye an the spirit of the Mojave.

I have a feeling that my courier would become the next Father Elijah, only actually being successful in his endeavors for regional domination. Just like Elijah, he would gather advanced tech from Big Mountain to use for his own twisted ends. Recovering security holograms from the Sierra Madre. Basically, finishing what Elijah had started and intended to accomplish.

Mine hasn't died. His mind became a floating brain like the Think Tank. He now controls New Vegas just like House wished he could. Except my courier will pick up where the Master left off. And starts creating an army of super mutants.

Too bad the game confirms that the courier never becomes a floating brain. I am sad panda.

Where would that be? Perhaps you mean Shady Sands? Though even that would be inaccurate cause it's now New California Republic.

As for my Courier he didn't die after helping the NCR take Vegas he headed to Arizona to liberate any and all people under the heel of the Legion. If he did die it would be a blaze of glory because I don't see my Courier just retiring anytime soon.

I'm so proud of them. :touched:

I like to think after becoming the King of New Vegas, he was pushed out by some revolutionaries and he lived alone in the desert for many years. When he was 70 years old and had a super cool beard, some raiders invaded his house and he had an epic last stand against 100 Fiends versus his pistol and combat knife.

Actually, Shady Sands is the capital, NCR is the state, country, whatever they are,

But isn't the name "Shady Sands" now called "New California Republic", which is also the Capital?

Nnnnnope.
NCR in Fallout 2 was only as big as one city, Shady Sands, so it was called NCR back then.
But now NCR has spread, Shady Sands can't go nameless, so it's being named after it's origin as Shady Sands.
I think there are references to Shady Sands in New Vegas, though I don't like NCR so I don't talk to them.

Troy Hunter will never die, because when he reaches old age (bout 60-70 I'd say) he locks himself up in a stasis chamber and works with House that way. He will continue doing SCIENCE through remote robots and in a few hundred years he will be able to return from his chamber when technology allows it. He will put his brain on some poor svcker's body and thus hijack it. As centuries pass by he will just hop from one body to other while on the way finding new ways to keep his brain alive.

he doesn't, because the courier is an idea, and you can't kill an idea...

except with bullets...

so he probably died that way...

okay so he got stabbed by the mugger in freeside, but the idea thing sounds way better.

After Cat McClaw liberated the Mojave from House, NCR and Legion, she played an active part in restoring order and re-building society. She worked hand in hand with the Followers, Kings and others in Freeside and on the Strip. Once, the work was done and she was satisfied, she returned to the Divide and spent her remaining years with Ulysses.

One day, they were working on restoring power to one of the barracks in Hopeville, the ground opened up and several tunnelers flooded into the building. Both fought bravely but where out numbered. They died with guns blazing, in a place that held many memories, good and bad... The Divide, home, haven, hell...

Kara MacNamara eventually got Mr House and the Think Tank to work together on their respective forms of preservation of consciousness and became the world's first mobile immortal being. After the conquering of cellular apoptosis through research into sonic weapons and the threat of radiation damage solved through real-time cybernetics controlled DNA splicing, she bid death goodbye forever and now walks the sands of the old world free from concern for her journey ever ending except through violent means.
