How do you use accessory mods

Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 1:44 pm

I'm new to the fallout world and new to using mods in games. After three weeks I have 17 mods installed, G.E.C.K., NVSE and FOMM. All seems to be working fine. I am running win7 home edition and I do not have a gaming computer.

I do not understand how to add clothing, jewelry, etc to a female character. I load the mod, find the item in a box somewhere and put it in my Pip-Boy inventory. Now what do I do? For example I've tried to give Sunny Smiles sixier clothing through the pip-boy but nothing I've done works. Is this done through the editor? or the console? Or can you only give these items to companions? Please give me a brief walk through.

Also what does PC and NPC mean? Personal companion and none personal companion?

Thanks for the help.

PC = Player Character
NPC = Non-Player Character
To give an NPC items (i.e. clothing), you'll need a mod that allows you to do that, or you can use the console (or the editor). From what I can understand you already have a mod that allows you to give NPC's items, but you don't understand how to use it? Post you list of mods and it will be easier for us to help you.
Also welcome to the forums, and have a http://images.uesp.net//c/c4/Fishystick.jpg!
