Yes! Entering the hideout of the Dark Brotherhood must be accompanied by a sense of dread, and cold shivers down the spine. Memorable characters that seem to be likable, but at the end of the day are just... psychopaths.

doesn't sound like it could work, imo-
I'm sorry, my friend.
I became enveloped into the DB in Oblivion and played through that questline many times. Sadly, I was utterly distraught with the way the DB was handled in Skyrim and wanted nothing more than to have my way with all of them and cast them out into the void itself.
I can understand they wanted to take the DB in a hardship direction but the experience was too painful to do it more than once. I wanted to rip out the guts of that irritating Jester and strangle him with them. That self righteous ole bitty running the show deserved to be impaled and I don't mean by being nice about it, either. Babette was the only likeable character for me and that says a lot coming from someone that modded out all of the children in the game.
When I think of the Black Hand and the Dark Brotherhood, I want memories of Oblivion to be my steadfast recall and all but forget that abortion in Skyrim.
Hail Sithis!
... and the Five Tenants!
At this moment. If the DB will be added in some future expansion, Zenimax could easily allow Brothers/Sisters to attack their target. But my gut tells me that you are probably correct.
Hmm, unfortunately i never got the chance to play Oblivion, so i don't know the difference. Skyrim was my first Elder Scrolls game. I was and am still absolutely infatuated with the game-- in fact, i think. I might play a bit in a few minutes!
