Seriously? Probably not a lot. I loved Morrowind, and on the strength of that game happily placed my pre-order for Oblivion. While I understood that "Oblivion" was "mainstreamed" I was disappointed by the sheer extent of said "mainstreaming". Given this, I will be waiting for reviews and watching these forums before I take the plunge. If things turn out badly, then I'll wait for the modders to fix the most egregious issues before buying.

I will buy the game at some point, however.

I wonder if on the release day, the forum will be going crazy or will be very quiet....

Go to school, buy the game from Gamestation at lunchtime, sprint home and stay up until 4am playing it and drinking so much Irn-Bru I turn orange.

HA. After my anticipitation for the games dies down after playing it a week, I will probably end up doing that. T_T.

Day of release I'm going to skip work/school for sure.

I'll get off work and take my hovercar down to the local entertainment vending receptacle to grab the game. Once home, I'll instruct my robotic maid to take care of the children and the evening chores so I can plug the game in directly through the neural interface - the way it's meant to be experienced.

Haha, great post by you. Love it. At the rate Bethesda’s going, we may need a time machine that can launch us forward a few hundred years if we want a chance at playing TES V…

Day before release: Excited anticipation, then no sleep.

Day of release: Borrow car, go to Wal Mart, buy it, take it home, put it in PC, read manual when it's installing to kill time, cry from joy when it's installed and I'm playing.

I will not be in the forum. I'll be in the game. Hold off on forum so that game can be MINE all MINE - MY World, MY new shiny thingy, MY new discovery, MY adventure.

Then, when I'm really trully stuck, I'll pull out, breathe oxygen, and compare notes on the forum.

In the days before the release I'll eat as much as possible, so that the day of the release I won't have to deal with that annoyance. I will then hook up some system of tubes and pipes so I won't need to get up to go to the bathroom, after that I just take the day off work and start a 24 hour TESV marathon :) .

Curses; I was going to say that!

I admire the optimism of those that plan to take the day off school (although I suppose they could be teachers by then!)

I thought it was common knowledge that TESV was a myth, and the biggest troll of all time.
