How's Your Weather? (thread #2)

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 2:22 pm

Given the extremes lately I thought we should continue this thread

http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1147221-hows-your-weather-like/

Its very nice here today for Northern California in February. Its 78F in the shade right now (25.5C). Flat amazing given the snow and ice east of here. I'm putting on shorts after lunch and go to the garden center to browse.

I live in Oklahoma. We have gotten way more snow than they are used to around here and more on the way. I used to live in Montana, so the snow really doesn't bother me :D

Yesterday there was a .15 inch layer of snow on the ground which lead to all of downtown to be closed for the day although some business opened at 12.
No more snow today and it feels like 70 to me.

Note: 20°C is 68°F, 10°C is 50°F.

I think the general weather of Australia as a whole has pretty much been covered http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1163844-cyclone-yasi/, but what we've got here in Melbourne is much less severe at present: Max 19, Shower or two clearing later. Tomorrow is: Min 12 Max 22 Partly cloudy. Tuesday is supposed to be similar, then it warms up to the mid/high twenties for a few days, after which it get cool again.

And yes, I'm pretty sure Melbourne hasn't moved and is still in Australia. But the massive (non-tropical) http://www.bom.gov.au/products/national_radar_sat.loop.shtml is probably affecting things a little :P.

YAY San Diego!

BUT -- I LOVE raining, and would like some snow now and then, please?

Colder than yesterday, but still nice. Probably about 60°F.
Patchy clouds all day long. It was nicest in the early afternoon- things cleared up for about an hour.

I live in Louisville, Kentucky.

Snowstorm one day, bright and sunny the next, and pouring rain the day after that.

Sometimes we place bets on what the weather will be tommorrow.

There's nearly 2 feet of snow on the ground that is frozen solid. It is currently just below freezing temperature and we are expected to get some rain and snow showers tonight. Lovely weather.

Freezing, snowy and crap. Just like it should be this time of the year here. At least no more big snows are forecast.

Currently 18:47 and 30°C (86°F) but it was hotter before the sun set and it's going to get hotter when summer comes around. Also we had some rain recently which led to large amounts of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAaM7G1wbLI

We have a few feet of snow at the moment, been getting hit with it last week or so. Worst winter for it in a few years to be honest, but I don't mind.

It's only a few degrees below zero (celsius), not much of a wind today. Supposed to get really cold tonight though.

It's rained for the past two days straight where I am. I actually like rain; but the aftermath is horrible. :(

Slightly cloudly, the whole world is gray for some reason; and puddles all over the place... Disgusting... For me; rain is like Mexican food.. It's great going in; but horrible going out.. :shakehead:
