I'm not sure why people are angry about the interview with Todd Howard. I found it to be very interesting, especially since his views about how game design and how the elders scrolls have progressed are exactly like mine and what I have posted on this forum before.

Because it wasn't 100% about the game. They said we would have alot of info very very soon after announcement and so far we KINDA have but most of it are so nerdy we have already looked up alot of the info just from coming to these boards so we knew it all already. *No insults intended* Least thats why I am a tad upset

Nah just messing around since there is rumor (kinda) that people think it will be delayed, but they are more than likely just misreading what the devs say

That concept art alone is absolutely the most wonderful image of Skyrim we have been given so far....Just look at it, it's spellbounding!
Plus the fact that dwemer ruins are confirmed? Huge! They were my favorite part of Morrowind and the Dwemer are by far my favorite part of lore. This interview was more about Bethesda's ethos and philosophy, yet still dropped those 2 (imho) huge bombshells, plus there's an update tomorrow, so quit your complaining!

it was on here i THINK on what a poster said about how the devs said that we would be getting more hub update and info on the game within the year and they were saying how the game is coming out this year so that MUST mean that the they are foreseeing a delay happening :rollseyes: I wouldn't worry tho

The context in which he mentioned spears and crossbows tells me that they won't be in Skyrim.
I understand his point of view that every option should feel distinct and that more is not necessarily better. But no spears and crossbows would be just sad.

you know crossbows were in morrowind, BEFORE they made fallout 3, right?

just bring up morrowind and its crossbows instead of immediately going to fallout... its frustrating to hear people bring up fallout whenever talking about TES, they're two completely different things... :facepalm:

Well frankly, Game Informer doesn't owe anyone any information on Skyrim. You didn't pay Game Informer for any extra game informer on the hub. If you got the magazine, that's all you paid for. If you didn't get the magazine, you shouldn't have any thoughts of being owed any information. Also, I don't see how lore is "nerdy", just because someone doesn't have a taste for the finer arts.
