Hub Update, Thread 2

Post » Sun Nov 28, 2010 5:30 pm

You'd be disappointed with less than five screenshots? You can't have been here for the pre announcement speculation then, when news about the Skyrim trademark was the Holy Grail.

Kids these days...

I knew stuff like this would happen. Skyrim is finally announced and people are still unsatisfied with what they get. =p

:twirl: I'm honored to be confused with Bennett. For my 31st bday this year, we rented out the theater at the US Navy Memorial and watched the movie.

That sounds awesome!

You can bug test a website... they're making changes to the hub. They'll be bug testing hyperlinks and skins and such.

Bug testing, eh? Hm... At first I thought they're writing something, but bugs... Perhaps indeed some sort of puzzle again.

(Edit: Yes, of course they could just test the links, but perhaps it's more :) )

How do you bug test a wallpaper or a screenshot?

Sweet jesus. Bug testing!? Maybe it's going to be the character creater like Bioware did for Dragon Age.
I kinda hope not because my pc won't be able to run it.

I really don't think GI puts that much effort into punctuality of their updates.

This is like when we speculated that Andy McNamara was obviously referring to Skyrim as the Feb cover because he used the word 'begging' - the same word he used in a tweet about TES six months prior. DUN DUN DUN. (Of course that speculation turned out to be correct, but it was still stupid and flawed :stare:)

My post was merely to inform people that an update probably wasn't going to happen for awhile and that they should chill out until then.

Isn't it obvious? Very carefully.

I'd go for another language puzzle too, or another song we would be left to disifer. Those are always fun, more or less.

I dont think Bethesda would let a magazine be the first the give out this kinda stuff?

They watch these forums and decide to update based on how entertaining our drooling and nerd-raging is. :D

They wait until only a few people are viewing this thread. Hehehe... :brokencomputer:

That's like telling me that I'm rubbish at singing when drunk.

Futile :P

I had a witty response about how we were nearly in a frenzy before the VGAs all typed out earlier but it just didn't sound clever and funny enough. I agree with your theory though. gamesas are sadists.

People, if it's a character creator or demo, the bug testing would've been done long ago. It's more likely something to do with the website like someone else mentioned.

Since it's a game magazine it will hardly be anything too advanced.
I'm guessing maybe a mini-game showing of their Radiant AI
