No Hud, Can't Move, Can't Save upon starting new character.

As the title says. Suddenly when I start new characters. Nothing happens. I spawn in the location I selected in Alternate Start, and there is no HUD, I cannot move, I cannot grab items, I cannot open my inventory and I cannot save. The MCA start dialogue fails to open.

My modlist and mods have not changed since this started happening.

Sounds like the Wrye Bash/SKSE bug. Try updating your SKSE.

Sounds like maybe the chargen process isn't completing and some of the Enable* commands haven't happened.
Are you able to bring up the console?

Yes, I can bring up the console. I tried the FixMe command. Just to see if commands worked, and they do. I think it has to do with MCA start script not working. But, I don't know the command to manually start the MCA start script.

Which version of MCA are you using?

It does seem strange that things would just stop working like this if your load order hasn't changed. But Morrowind sometimes makes weird changes to Morrowind.ini.

I ran FixIt and Rebuilt the Mashed Patch, the problem still occurs.

Oh, and I mloxx'd my load order aswell. Though, it didn't need to be updated anyways...

In the console, tell me what the following results in:

show chargenstate

If chargen finished properly, it should show -1.

Okey dokey. I'm thinking the problem is in Chargen Revamped or something that is interfering with how that mod works so that the chargen script (I think it is "chargenew") isn't finishing and setting chargenstate to -1. There are also a bunch of commands that run at the end of chargen to enable menus and player controls, etc, and that is apparently not happening so that's why you aren't seeing your HUD.

You say that the chargen process transported your character to the alternate start point, which one did you choose?

I clicked Random... heh. Let me try clicking other than random. I hit random last 3 times I tried to make a char.

Edit: Hah! That fixed it. Hmm...
