HUD for basic needs & exposure?

Post » Sun May 18, 2014 3:12 pm

What I'm looking for: HUD icons for basic needs (navigating to an "active effects" menu to figure out whether or not your character is hungry/thirsty/cold/sleepy/diseased is clunky and lame!). Think Fallout: NV, or the DayZ mod for Arma II. Bonus points for "active effects" icons (a la Morrowind), as well.

SkyUI supposedly supports these functions, but as far as I know no one has taken advantage of it.

Has anyone done this already? I'd do it myself if I knew how.

BUMP.

So... nothing, then?

I'm going to try and figure this out, but if I can't drum up any discussion or assistance, it's staying on my hard drive! Buahahaha!

You may send request to authors of immersive mods categorized as "True Need", e.g. Frostfall, Realistic Needs and Diseases...

It's not SkyUI team's duty to make HUD widgets for all specific actor states.

There should be messages in your top left of the screen.

AFAIK, there are currently Active effects visible using icons, but for your needs it may be better to use widgets, which are still in developement. Also, Chesco was considering to add widgets to Frostfall, I do not know wether he has changed his mind about it, but probably not - however, widgets are in developement, not for use, while active effects icons are just these - to give you visual clue e.g. what spell is affecting you.
