No HUD+looting needs work(XB1)...

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 10:26 pm

I play "no HUD" on Xbox. In FO3 and NV, when I searched (by actively CHOOSING to search by pressing 'A', not just scanning over) an object, I got a screen that showed me the contents of that object and I could then choose what to take and what to leave. In FO4, I can't see what's in there and I automatically collect all of it by pressing 'A' again. This makes me have to open up my INV, find the added items and sort them out. This seems counter-intuitive and I hope that you can patch in a better solution in the same way that you improved Skyrim after launch. I can't believe that I'm the only one who would welcome such a change. Thank you!

PS: Please bring back "Smooth Wave" hair; my guy doesn't feel like my guy.

Perhaps we could get toggles for HUD elements? This is something I wish the Oblivion/FO3/NV/Skyrim had, as well.

Okay, I got this issue sorted out: use X instead of A. Now, my issue is that subtitles are not visible with the HUD opacity all the way down. Another argument for making HUD elements toggle-able. I just want no HUD for immersion purposes (I also turn down ambient music), but I'd like to be able to read dialogue so I don't have to crank the volume and disturb my wife and kids. Anyway, this will probably get buried quickly; just wanted to see if anyone else would like to see toggle-able HUD elements on a future update.
