I'm looking for a mod that makes so that the crossair would only appear when you have a arrow/spell ready.

iHUD shows the crossair when you equip a bow and when you equip a spell.

Is a fantastic mod!

I'm just trying to find a alternative.

Open the MCM and turn off that option in iHUD.

I recommend http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33482/?. Highly unrecognized Mod with superb coding structure and tons of functions all adjustable in a MCM. Also utilizes FISS for easy profile saving.

The guy is also the creator of the only Journal Mod on the Nexus, and as far as I can tell, the very first person to ever deal with UI elements in a decent way.

I personally usehttp://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/3222/?, removes all the HUD from view until I am using it. (But I just noticed that this was the one that you were talking about )

Although Minimal HUD works just as fine and I would recommend that if you are looking for an alternative!
