Huge triangular object in picture.

Most likely a mountain, but since it is so far away you don't see the edges and everything (you really wouldn't from that distance unless it was a big difference between the edge and the rest of the mountain). That would imply though that you can even see it from such a distance that the graphics cards are forcing it into a perfectly triangular shape. That means that the graphics and line of sight in Skyrim is gonna be beast!!

It's the lod system. Obstructed scenery is rendered with less polygons. That's how they get the game running smoothly on the 360.

This.

(Horrifying self realization) The new info isn't enough... we will NEVER be satisfied, only 8 hours and the info is already stale, we've already found every conceivable artifact and mined the new articles and photos for every tidbit of information... we could squeeze water out of a rock and yet our thirst would be unquenched... What does this mean for the next few months? We will be insatiable!! :banghead: I feel like that greek who has to push a rock up a hill for all eternity... The closer we get the farther away it really seems.

It's an unfinished mountain or bad LOD of a mountain. The game isn't finished yet, so this is something they could be working on right now.

If you look close enough you can see that the tree is blocking the right side of the shape, and its not a complete triangle, looks like a jagged mountain top.

ok... half a pyramid carved into the mountain. that would still be so cool.

(no harm in dreaming.)

Edit: It's the mountain that's the farthest one back in the valley to the right.

All of this nice scenery going on. An old fort in ruins, what appears to be a wooden section behind it, the beautiful blend of a snowy area changing to a more forested area...

And we're concerned with a tiny area behind a tree a hundred miles away in the distance.

Come on, guys, really?

Speculation is keeping this forum alive.

It's obviously a Fallout 3 easter egg: Mothership Zeta crashed in Skyrim. :P

I don't see what you're talking about, considering I don't see a "lone tree" anywhere, there are multiple trees. Since I can't find your point of origin, I cannot find this "pyramid" you speak of.
Anyone care to shop in a circle around said object?

Well, it's not much new info, you have some new screens including 2 races, but other than that, all that's actually new is....

-Elven glass sword mentioned
-No attributes
-No athletics or acrobatics
-Text clutters up the middle of the screen

What have I missed? Not much to be excited about.

It's just a mountain that looks like it hasn't been fully rendered. I'm on my phone, so I can't shop it.

Start at the obvious stone tower in the center of the image- the one that resembles a standard Oblivion Imperial Fort Ruin. First tree you see to the left of that tower. The (obvious) mountain in the background behind that tree is the object of speculation. Pretty much dead-center of the shot.
