I'm gonna rule out mountain because that object looks to have perfectly straight edges.

I'd still say it's a mountain. Maybe it's the draw distance finally giving out. Seems really far away...

Could be a bad LOD version of a mountain that straightened out the edges... or... a pyramid... hmm.... Falmer????

I think that's a mountain.
It's far in the background, things are harder to see especially with all those fog.

If you guys zoom in, you'll notice that the tree branch gives off the illusion of the edge of that structure in background. The tree is covering it...its a mountain.

Actually..a second look reveals that the left side of the "mountain" is completely straight. odd.

Definitely doesn't look like a mountain, unless its the smoothest most perfect mountain of all time. Plus there seems to be a wall & building beside it.

Maybe its just the draw

It's a mountain.
Distance and concealment just make the left edge look straighter than it is.

I'm thinking it's just a mountain. Yeah, it looks a little too straight, but that might just be because they haven't fully polished that area yet.

All of this nice scenery going on. An old fort in ruins, what appears to be a wooden section behind it, the beautiful blend of a snowy area changing to a more forested area...

And we're concerned with a tiny area behind a tree a hundred miles away in the distance.

Come on, guys, really?

It's the lod system. Obstructed scenery is rendered with less polygons. That's how they get the game running smoothly on the 360.

If you look close enough you can see that the tree is blocking the right side of the shape, and its not a complete triangle, looks like a jagged mountain top.
