well, currently im getting a HUGE perception bonus from the head gear because im wearing a sheriff hat on top of the Elite Riot Helmet..

i'd post a picture but I havn't got the tech to do that

Has anyone else encountered this? I dont want to remove the hat incase it dosn't go back on lol.

I think it's a feature. The Wiki says that riot gear helmets are flagged as "hair", which is why you can wear headwear with them.

i suggest using boone's ncr beret with the helmet. you get the PER bonus plus critical chance bonus. i think it's a mistake (being able to equip two headgears) but seeing as there's a limited number of new gear in each dlc, it's hard to think they missed something so obvious, so maybe it was intended as a 'feature'. either way, run with it.

Its a very nice bug to exploit, but I hate how the screen kinda flashes everytime you get out of the sneak position, wearing that helmet. Really annoys my eyes, and I don't want to crouch around the entire wasteland lol The elite armor is sweet though.

The suit + 1st Recon Beret alone is 10% crit. Abuse it.

US Army General's Outfit + Elite Riot Gear Helmet + Daniel's Hat = +20 to the speech skill.
