Huh? Whered it go?!?

So after I entered The Tops casino Boons sniper disappeared and once I exited it didn't come back... That was a 8k total cap rifle... So is this a bug? Is there any way to get it back?

I beleive in the wiki about boone it said somthing about his Rifle dissapearing permanently when entering certain places and such.
