When she arrives at the farm shes immediatly scolded by her partents and in a fit of rage accidently sets a wheat crop ablaze. In the aftermath she was sent to the Arcane University by an Imperial convoy. One long week later after crossing the border into cyrodiil the convoy was beset by bandits. Admist the attack Hunter had begun a fire storm showering both the bandits and the imperial convoy in fireballs. All that was left was a smoldering wreck of the carriage and 2 dozen charred bodies. Alone on the road, Hunter was found and apprehended by a passing patrol. The examiners of the site assumed that all the bodies were part of the convoy, condemning Hunter to execution.
While in her cell she was mocked by another prisoner continually, until she set his pants on fire. One dingy sunset Azura visited Hunter saying 'Its time'. She woke up as 3 members of the blades and the Emperor stopped by her cell door. Her cell was an secret escape path for the Emperors. She followed them into the tunnel and after helping defend the emperor, Hunter had to make her own way to the exit.
Before leaving the surviving Blade ordered her to Weynon Priory. She was met with a Monk called Jauffre, who sent her to Kvatch. Hunter's heart fell into her stomach as she saw the smoldering ruins of Kvatch. As she approached the Refugee camp a hysterical survivor ran past screaming "THE DAEDRA HAVE COME! The end is nigh!". The Captain of the guard stopped Hunter in her march up the hill and told her to go back to the camp. She ignored his commands and continued marching past him and the baricades. 50yds from the searing oblivion gate Hunter unsheathes her steel longsword and prepared a fireball. Clanfears and Daedroths emerge from the gate as Hunter charges it. The daedra fall to her swift blade and fireball bombardment. Hunter leaps into the gate and is met with a firery hellish lanscape. After battling her way into the Sigil chamber, she grabs the sigil stone and is transported back to the gates of Kvatch.
The Captain rushes to apologise for his rudeness and asks for help retaking the city. She agrees and heads through the gate and slaughters the Clanfears and Dremora in the courtyard. When the last enemy falls she heads into the Cathedral and queries about Martin. She it pointed to the Priest, who doesnt believe Hunter is asked by her to head to the camp while the way is clear and wait for her. She joins up with the captain and the last of the guard for an assault on the Keep. The assualt is halted by the keep's portcullis, the captain elects Hunter to head through the Catacombs and raise the portcullis from the other side. She snuck past the daedra, taking them out one by one with her bow. She raised the portcullis and allowed the assualt to proceed. She ran into the keep leaving the Daedra outside to the guards. After a flurry of sword swings and fireballs, the Great hall was cleared of evil. The Captain runs to Hunter and sends her to find the Count. She made her way to the private quarters of the count only to find his burning corpse. She took the Counts ring and handed it to the captain. Without a word she left the keep to sound of cheering drowning out the burning and crackling of wood. An astounded Martin thanked Hunter on saving whats left of the city and agrees to see Jauffre.
They arrive at Weynon Priory only to find it under attack by Mythic Dawn agents. Two agents attack Martin, Hunter switly slices the first's head off and incinerated the second as he ran. She charges into the chapel with her bow ready, letting an arrow fly through the neck of one agent and before she could notch another it ricocheted of the wall and into the head of last agent. The triumph trio decide to head to Cloud Ruler Temple. An eventless journey later they arrive at the ancient fortress and our greeted by the occupants. He blurts out that he had a meeting in the sewers with one called the sponser who has the fourth volume. Hunter meets with Baurus at a sewer entrance. Hunter drops into the dingy depths followed by Baurus, they head to the meeting spot. As they reach the meeting spot, Hunter agrees to provide overwatch while Baurus meets with the Sponser. The meeting goes awry when the sponser realises who Baurus is. Hunter lets and arrow soar through the stinking air piercing the heart of the sponser. Baurus hands the fourth volume to hunter. She exits the sewers and walks to the green emperor way. She sits near the gravestones, reading the books shes collected. When she notices the first letter of each paragraph spell out a phrase. After decyphering the code she ascertains the location of a Mythic Dawn shrine.
She heads out into the wilderness, towards the shrine. As she enters the cave she is mistaken for a new initiate and is relieved of her equipment. Hunter remembers rumours of Umbra hiding out in a ruin near pells gate. She finds out the location of the ruin from the villagers and ventures into it. She stealthily nears herself towards a mad woman talking to her sword, taking place on a balcony overlooking the woman. Hunter readies her bow, carefully aims, takes a deep breath, holds it and lets loose. The arrow soars through the air but Umbra deflects it with her sword. Hunter launches herself from her perch towards Umbra, who swats Hunter aside. As she struggles to get on her feet Hunter unleashes a spell blinding Umbra. Hunter stabs Umbra multiple times with her dagger until Umbra falls to the ground. Hunter grabs the sword when the smell of wet dog fills the air, from the shadows emerges a man and an old dog. The man introduces himself as Clavicus Vile and his dog Barbas. Clavicus extends a deal to Hunter for the sword, Hunter walks on past him and exits the ruins.
When Hunter hands over Umbra to Martin a Blade bursts into the room rambling something about a firery gate. Hunter joins jauffre on the battlements overlooking Bruma.
