this pic is named "ForestHunt" by bethesda and that animal is a freaking giant moose Elk.

look the main character, he is carrying in his poket (in the belt) a http://etc.usf.edu/clipart/14200/14255/hunt-horn_14255_lg.gif

i don't know if this is only new for me or you already noticed.

anyway i think it's a great idea, hunt with a horn that emulates some animal sounds, what do you think people?

Well grats man because i didnt spot that before, and i do hope it is not just part of the main chars clothing.

If you can use horns in the game, it will be EPIC!

Horn of Gondor FTW!

I apologize for being a pessimist, but I think that horn is just part of the quiver harness.

Don't get me wrong, that's neat in itself, it looks good.

I don't see it. Am I looking at it wrong? It just looks like a pouch that could contain just about anything.

I think the same. It seems that quivers will be very detailed though.

Looks pretty good to me, hope it is not just part of the outfit although it has been surmised that some of the inventory items can be seen on the outside of the character. Hope so.

I guess we see it differently then, to me it looks like the pouch is attached to the quiver strap, and furthermore it looks alot like the horn itself is part of the pouch mesh.

But hey, I hope I'm wrong so you can enjoy your hunting horn when the game is released :)

The horn would be a great addition, and could work like the Bait in Red Dead Redemption, when you blow it, relevant wildlife will come to the areas surrounding the horn, say 10-20 meters radius.

You could expand on this mor with different types of horns for various wildlife.

This sounds fun........but honestly..........not really something I'd miss.

Most likely he's wearing a clothing set called "hunter's outfit" that includes the horn as part of the mesh.

Looks like a drinking horn to me.

A Nordsman never goes anywhere without his trusty drinking horn. Who knows, he may run into some travelers who wants to settle a dispute with a drinking contest? Or what if he ran into a fellow with an ale keg who was generous enough to offer a drink, but didn't have any spare mugs?

Always bring your drinking horn, that's what I say.

The animal in the picture looks like a white tailed deer, definitly not at elk...you can tell by the horns.

The horn in the originally posted pic seems like its part of the quiver.

I was kind of hoping, since it is part of the quiver strap that it was a container for holding poison that you could dip your arrows in, before you nock them and shoot them at your target, but a hunting horn would be pretty cool as well. Then again it could be nothing more than decoration.

Great point about the poison. That would make alot of sense seeing that it is part of the quiver strap. I hope it is too.

I know, I was looking at other types of deer like animals but in the GI mag (or somewhere else I forger) it says that it is an Elk.
