My hype is at a low......

Post » Sun Oct 09, 2011 5:05 am

You know what would get me ecstatic, again? I'd love to see some PS3 version footage and some marketing actually directed at your PS3 fanbase, Bethesda...

My hype's at a low because they're announcing things like 360-exclusive DLC, showing brand new footage only from the 360 version, announcing 360-exclusive avatar items, only showing the 360 achievements, etc. I want nothing more than to feel as though I am being taken into consideration for something Bethesda does, but with all the focus on the 360 version, that's not happening.

360 ONLY DLC? Tell me its time or else I'm not even buying the game. Thats a serious slap in the face to PC gamers

... converted to 60fps?

You can't just convert something to a higher FPS

It's timed and it's not much of an advantage, time-wise (only 30 days), but it's the general principle of the action and my past horrid experiences with Fallout 3's DLC being arbitrarily delayed for the PS3 and coming out as a technical pile of crap that have me so upset over that... in combination with everything else, of course.

My hype has never been low. The official map leak today made me even more excited.

I still have to preorder though.

Take a break and just step back for a few weeks. Next thing you know, release will be soon, and new videos and countdown trailers etc..while start to emerge. I wouldn't play Oblivion, I am afraid that would lead me to burnout.

My hype for Skyrim has dropped in the past 2 weeks..... I still visit the forums... Anyone's hype at a low? I was going to play oblivion started a new game and I just couldn't finish it again..... The forums seem to be quite dry of new info....and all of the info has been the same for the past 6 months pretty much

If you are still hyped? What is keeping you hyped?

Started mass effect 2 and wow it's truly amazing!

That is a good state of mind to be in. Just keep that even temperament, and you will enjoy Skyrim more. It's the people that at are all hyped up that are going to be the ones [censored]ing about all the little problems the game has. Just after release.

I'm just excited a new TES game is getting released, it isn't something that happens too often, so be happy! :tops: (Plus, once they're finished with Skyrim and it's DLC they'll be working full-steam on Fallout 4!)

I have been tempted to purchase a new copy of oblivion, to play it again; I decided not to, because the levelscaling system is just too horrid. The memories of my Main Character are fond enough that I do not need to replay anything. The same goes for my Morrowind Character (which was my favorite).

I also have Dark Souls to keep me occupied, and that game is awesome.

The "Thu'um" alone has me hyped for Skyrim.

I'm still hyped for the game, though its not quite at the the all time high it was when i first saw the E3 footage. But right now the main thing i want is just a complete list of all the perks.
