All I have to say is wow. I was wandering around Khuul on my Level 9 Assassin/Nightblade character, completely penniless and looking for something to do. I decided I'd head towards the upper ashlands and do some exploring, and I come across this cave, Ibar-Dad. Now, I've played Morrowind since 2002, but I have never been in this cave.
Again, to repeat my earlier sentiments, all I have to say is wow. Bethesda were very creative with some of the locations in this game. Not a giant cave, actually quite towards the smaller side, but how the cave went into a tomb on the outskirts of the daedric ruin next to it was genius. It reminded me of how the Urshilaku Burial Caverns went into the very edges of Druscashti.
Needless to say, I walked away from the random treasure dive the opposite of poor, but I decided to keep my treasures and store them in my vault as opposed to cashing in on them, even though I have little use for any of them (being a user of light armor and long blades).
Are there any other caves like this? I know of the one where the Daedric Face of God is located, but what about other locations? If possible, can you not specify exact cave/tomb name, but just general location? I love freelance adventuring in Morrowind, and am no stranger to it, but I think this experience may have just topped the cake. I'm hungry for more.
Thanks for all the tips gentlemen/ladies, and happy adventuring in Vvardenfell!
