iCloud backup not possible on ipad : Fallout 4

I have fallout shelter on iPhone iOS 9.0.2 and it backs up my game to the cloud no problem.

I also have it on my iPad iOS 9.1 beta and it doesn't back up to the cloud.

Is this due to running iOS 9.1 or something else?
