It's good see so many of you have taken an interest to it. Despite having developed a plot for Morrowind, I can sense the hunger to write somewhere other than Cyrodiil or Vvardenfell. How do you guys and gals feel about Elsweyr? Or perhaps as Darkom suggested, we'll take this rp to mainland Morrowind.

I think it would be great. I've been wanting to get more into lore and geography of the rest of Tamriel and this would give me a good reason to. Would be pretty cool to be able to branch out of where most RP take place.

I know, but maybe in the past? Or we get small boxes of unimportant items (In this case, Skooma). For more of a "Not one step back, keep moving, don't stop 'til ya die" Sort of feeling.

Probably some time after Christmas. I'm at headquarters right now on State Duty so I can't put too much time into the rp. How does some time after the holidays sound? I still need to work out a decent plot.

sounds fine to me. A well thought out plot is better than a quickly organized one by far. Would give me time to possibly think out basic character guide lines as well.

Not really, but I suppose people may have their reasons. There's no point in starting an rp right before the holidays just to have everyone abandon it. I know I probably wont be on much then. Probably just to update 'Trials'.

I'd rather start in kitty country. Morrowind really doesnt appeal to me at all, It never has. Call me crazy but the "Alien" landscapes and cities that every one creams over just bores me. Its always one thing, ash, greys and black and browns. The range is too drab for me to enjoy writing about.

And Elyswer just seems more interesting to me, everyone is so obsessed with all of the Morrowind stuff that it kind of gets old. So, you can count my vote with Solidor on this one.

I think a lot of people are just saying how much they love Morrowind, and or Cyrodiil because those are the areas were familiar with. Anyways, still think it would be interesting to develop an RP around a new and unknown area.

Sounds good, though I'd lace that in with an underlying plot as well.

Also, crossing my fingers that the goods are daedric artifacts.

You can also be body guards for the smugglers if I'm correct. I think it would be interesting if the smugglers are working under someone. The person who is ordering the transportation of the goods. Maybe only having one high member of the smugglers know what the goods are, and all the others are just hired skill to assist with it. The body guards would then basically know nothing, and are merely to protect, but they may become curious depending on the writer of course.

All wonderful ideas. My lore in Elsweyr isn't as sharp as the other provinces. Would it be too much to ask for link to the Imperial Library for more insight on Elsweyr? It's my understanding the government in Elsweyr is relatively new.

Anyway, I'm still developing a strong plot for the rp. I'd like to get a sign-up thread out with the OP, character sheet template, rules, etc today. As I've said before I'm pretty busy working but I'll try to get something neat and interesting going a.s.a.p.


I'll post a rough draft of the OP when I can.

Could I possibly get one or two other people to help me? I hate to ask, but I find that multiple minds working to brainstorm a plot can provide some color.
