History- Eric was a smart, funny, outgoing boy when he was young. He had been taught from an early age that having everyone like you was important. That was what the Vault-Tec slides always said. Practically everyone loved him in Vault 101. Except for Butch and the Tunnel Snakes. Eric was happy with his popularity, but it seemed that no one in the Vault really, truly liked him for who he was. They only liked the idea of him, as that funny kid with good manners. In truth Eric secretly wanted to do away with everyone in the Vault and read the books in the library to his hearts content. But he never was left alone. No one seemed to care about what he thought, they only wanted to be seen with Eric so everyone could see that they were cool and popular. Eventually Eric contemplated suicide. If he couldn't have privacy, then he couldn't be happy. He began to hate everyone, and himself for creating this nightmare in the first place. But the only thing that kept him from doing it was his father. His father James was his anchor to reality, his role-model. James was the only one who loved him for who he was, a brainy book-worm who wanted nothing more than to learn everything they could. But then one day Eric's dad left, and his world came crashing down. His best friend (if you could even call her that) Amata came to tell him that the Vault had descended to chaos due to the Overseer's actions and a rad-roach infestation. All of the rage and anger that had welled up inside Eric for years finally came out. He went insane and killed Amata, and then started to kill anyone and anything he saw in the Vault. He killed Butch for his past cruelties, he killed Stanley for always being a whiny spineless wimp, he killed the police officers and then decapitated them. When he found the Overseer, he ripped him apart his bare hands. He left the Vault, having killed nearly everyone in it. He had lost the only thing that was dear to him, and in turn had destroyed the lives of everyone he knew. Eventually Eric found himself in an almost deserted Vault. Those that had not been killed were hiding, trembling in fear, waiting for the moment Eric would find them and put them out of their misery. In truth the fog of insanity had lifted from Eric, and he began to regain his senses. He realized that he had done an unspeakable evil upon the Vault society, and that he could never forgive himself for ending so many lives. His thoughts ever went back to the stories he had read in his child-hood about the world above. It had always seemed like such an intriguing, mysterious place. He hacked the files in the Overseer's office, and found scouting reports dating over a hundred years ago reporting a desolate wasteland, filled with mutants and criminals and destruction. It was like the stories from Eric's childhood. He read of the human settlements struggling to survive against the elements, and saw the photos the scouts had taken of the people they had met. Eric saw his opportunity for salvation. He resolved to escape the Vault like his father, and to protect the good people of the world, fighting evil, and bringing hope and aid to those in need. He would travel the wastes, bringing order and stability, and putting down the sub-human monsters that would seek to harm the innocent. So Eric packed his belongings, took anything he could find of value, and left Vault 101 forever.
Swarovsky's tag skills will be repair, small guns, and speech. Eric has gained a good understanding of many things through his reading of books in the Vault, and has made it a mandate to stay in good physical condition. He is very adept at persuading people, a gift from his days of being everyone's favorite guy in 101. In his youth he loved to tinker with technology, so he can repair a good number of weapons, and shoot them well. While not final, his special will be something roughly like:
Strength: 4
Perception: 4
Endurance: 4
Charisma: 6
Intelligence: 10
Agility: 3
Luck: 2
I'm pretty sure that adds up to 33. I dunno, I failed math 6 times in my life ^_^ or was it 5...
Give me any suggestions to role playing my character, what you think of my little morbid story, and any critique so long as it's constructive. Aw who am I kidding? Flame away. In fact, I urge you to flame. I will like it very much and will be happy that you decided to insult me. That's just me.
