Idea for spicing up combat

So I got this idea about being able to switch a weapon from one handed to two handed and two handed to one handed after reading a thread about a mod changing all one handed katanas to two handed. at this time I've managed to extract the script from the Akatosh sword in order to change a sword from two handed to one handed/etc.

here's the file i made for anyone curious enough. I tested the file myself and it seemed to work out well.

The next step I was hoping to add would be some sort of strength/weapon skill requirement to change the "stance" of the sword. I was wondering if there would be any possible way to make this switching active. When i say active i mean that instead of having to drop the sword to the ground, you could switch from one handed to two handed in combat. Anyone wiling to contribute any scripts to help this mod along it's way would be great and the help would be appreciated. It's kind of a miracle i manage to do what i did with the test so I'll definitely need help getting this mod going. I'm hoping to adapt the scripts for each sword in the game and maybe even have them switchable to parrying swords (with the appropriate skills). I know it's a bit ambitious for a first mod, but i think with the help of the community maybe I'll finally be able to give something back that people might like, for all the years I've been downloading mods :D

After a bit of testing I've finally figured out how to add requirements to the one handed version of the chrysamere and make switching active while in combat. I've tested it on a clean, patched morrowind and on a modded morrowind and it does not seem to conflict with anything, nor crash the game I'll upload the test soon so if anyone would like to test the mod for themselves that would really be a great help :D

the next stage now that I'm this far is to add this capability to the rest of the long swords in the game. hopefully I'll be able to do it without messing anything up. Also eventually i'd like to see about adding some sort of way to keep the weapon's durability constant when changing weapons instead of regenerating. I was told it'd probably require MWSE so if anyone with extensive knowledge with it wouldn't mind helping, it'd be much appreciated.

OOOPS! forgot to add the download link.
