Idea for a tabletop campaign: Avatar of talos

So, I'm planning a tabletop RPG campaign, in which the players initially become adventurers, members of the fighter's/thief's guild, and such. They'll be able to travel along tamriel, discover the ES universe, and such.

But there's going to be, from the beginning, hints of war. Political struggles, practical alliances, resistance moviments, etc. The Empire and the Thalmor are going to be making preparations for the next war.

This thread is to consider the possibility of the Empire pooling resources to emulate Numidium, in the shape of a vessel for Talos. If the knowlegde to build animunculi is restored and expanded into bigger constructs, if Morrowind's ebony mines are secured, perhaps it'll be possible to build the Colossus of Talos, a giant animunculi, shaped into the ideal mannish concept of earthly resilience, armored with the blood of Lorkhan, the first mannish attempt to create a TOWER.

However, how it's possible to power it? It's actually simple. Post-Skyrim, there's a entity that contains several "oversouls", the Dovahkin. Willingly or not (that depends on the players), he/she could be fashioned into a pseudo-mantella (he's already a vessel by him/herself), giving the Colossus the means to move, and also to acquire the "Voice of Talos", the second (?) mannish Thu'um, reproducing the reshaping of the cyrodillic jungle into (legion)men-friendly environments, no matter the cost to altmer nor the beauty of their land.

However, I ask of you: How lore-friendly is that idea?
