Idea: Undertale Armoury

Post » Thu Dec 03, 2015 8:32 am

I figured that after a couple months there would have been something like this but now, but it seems the craze hasn't reached the Modding scene yet so here I am to maybe move things along.

Now then.

Dusting off this account to present the idea: Weapons and Clothing/Armour themed from the Characters from Undertale.

Ideas such as:

A caster robe based on Toriel/Endboss's Garb.

Sword based on the two the Endboss uses.

A Bone Club that hits people with Blue fire/Roots enemies based on Papyrus.

Spear and Armour based on Undyne (The Undying)

Trident and Armour/Cape based on Asgore.

Caster staff that shoots a blue fire ray modeled after the Genocide Endboss's Gaster Blaster Attack.

Might be a good idea, when do you begin? :)

Yeesh It's been a while. Is there some new unspoken rule that idea pitching has to be backed with modding talent that cropped up in my absence?

If so boy am I sorry to disappoint.

The idea is more: do it yourself if you want it to be done. ;)

Hi. I don't know if this was made apparent already but I have next to no modding know how.

Or do I have to start using bold and underline and Italics to make it more noticeable?

I thought the entire purpose of pitching ideas was that so people with ideas could send them to people who may have some skill so that some result could come forthwith.

There used to be a whole network for this sort of thing but I don't know if it still exists.

Heya - i deleted the last few posts. Funny, the modding community used to be pretty open and welcoming, even to people that just had ideas. Sometimes people like to spitball, or find out if someone is maybe working on a similar mod, but may not have the desire or time to mod a game. But I guess for some of you, discussing ideas is just "tough cookies".

OP, there did used to be a running thread for mod ideas in Oblivion. People like discussing stuff. Sometimes good ideas come out of it - that's how some design docs even get fleshed out. Sorry if the reception was off-putting.
