Ideal Power Armor Paint?

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 7:14 pm

I notice we can paint our power armor, and I was curious on what color the community is going for.

I personally hoping for a nice black/red or white/black look for it.

Brushed steel.

While you guys keep repainting your power armor and probably nails, I'll be fighting. :D

I want the metal on my power armour to be as naked as a mole rat.

I was under the impression most power armor after the stupid-ass Bethesda invention of the T45d was not actually metal but a plastic composite.

Something Bright: Hot pink, infra red , pure white or neon yellow, light grey and shiny black.

I wish there is camo themes and stuff.

Well, as City of Heroes demonstrated, Black and Red is a classic Evil combination.

If you're going for heroic, you can't go wrong with bright white mixed with a dark blue. You can also use silver instead of white.

Military, you can blend all sorts of flat colors for an appropriate look. Just don't go shiny.

I wonder what the color limitations are, though, because imagine how amazing it would be to march into battles as a psychedelic rainbow walking tank of death and destruction, spewing plasma bursts, fire, laser beams and minigun barrages.

It's just too bad they can't program the NPCs to react.

Raider Boss: "You mean to tell me... Some waster skragged your boys... And he was in pink armor?"

Maimed Raider: "It wasn't just pink armor, man! It was PINK POWER ARMOR! She was gunnin' us down and pluckin' off fingers! Like some kind of crazy... Power Ranger or something..."

Raider Torturer: "Power Ranger? Man, you must be high... Rangers ain't got that kinda hardware!"

Boom

Raider Boss: "Wait a minute... How'd you say you got free?"

BOOM!

Pink Powered Armor Heroine: levelling a minigun on the raiders "Hello, boysh! I'm here to shoot you all to deathsh!" (she's supposed to sound like Jensen from RvB)

Somebody broke down the stats and some of the paint jobs.

Pre-release info on a wiki, all information therefor should be taken with a grain of salt. However its a still a good indicator on how paints will be managed.

More of a fan of adding a pin-up picture, or something like the nose art used in WW2 warbirds.
