Ideal skill for exploring.

What's up dudes and dudettes.

So, i'm a bit of a newbie to this game and i also play on an iPhone 4s and unfortunately i can't get any higher then around 30 Dwellers without the game crashing so i'm kinda restricted to what i know and can learn..

But anyway, i'm curious, what skill's are best to have for exploring?

I'm guessing Luck is one of the most important skills but what else? I'm taking an educated 'life' guess and thinking strength is also important but i really don't know. Any feedback would be awesome!

Cheers.

Strenght, endurance and luck are generally considered the most important specials. According to a loading screen hint all specials seem to matter somehow though. And of course the best outfit/weapon you have will also increase their survivability.

Here's a spreadsheet made by some enthusiasts on wasteland exploring: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Nai09D_aM2syl3iPP5hkveDcOUwhsoUDR6s1lwC0e8c/edit#gid=1591448540

Firstly, high level. High level dweller has high health point so it survives longer, consuming less Stimpaks.

Secondly, Luck. Dweller with high luck finds better weapons and outfits on Wasteland. What is use of surviving longer if it can not find good gears?

Thirdly, good weapon and Strength also help defeating threats in Wasteland.

Endurance to widthstand radioactive radiation. High endurance dweller consumes less RadAways. High endurancr is not essential if it carries enough RadAways.

All other stats including Intelligencr or Charisma also do matter considerably.

Differance among them are not so great. So sum of all stats matters most.

High Level - that is key!

I want good P, E and L.

P makes them more effective with their weapon and helps them kill things quicker and thus take less damage.

Give them a great weapon and good outfit to round out their skills.

If you get lucky and get a good weapon in one of the early lunchboxes you can send out anyone with lots of STIMs ... I sent out a level 1 character with almost maxed SPECIAL S7,P-10(+2),E-7(+5),C-10,I-10,A-10,L-10 ... I recalled him at just over 101 hours and he was level 50. The Weapon and Endurance are keys to extended runs. He went out with 25 STIMs and had 7 left when I recalled him.

From experience, high Luck does not guarantee better loot. It DOES guarantee more caps earned. I have a maxed out Abraham Washington with a +7 Lucky Formal Suit something (the name is escaping me) and he rarely even picks up Rare outfits, pun intended.
