Ideas for M'aiq

Post » Thu Apr 07, 2011 6:52 pm

Well if M'aiq makes it in the game (or his son's son or maiq the 3rd) he will most likely once again make references to bad ideas, bad/past games and lots of other stuff.
So I thought this could be a thread were everybody shares there ideas on what he could say. Any good ones I see will be added to this first post and the people who wrote them will get credit. I will start...

M'aiq is scared of many monsters and creatures. But none are as scary as a bandit in full dadric amour. (oblivions [censored] level scaling)

M'aiq still hasn't heard a good fable. I just heard of the of a the thrid one. M'aiq hears it's worse then the first two. (the 3rd fable is even [censored]ter then the first 2)

M'aiq never liked school. Not even Maiq knows if anybody liked the classes. Mabey you could ask some of the new kids if they like them? (oblivions horrible leveling system and classes)

M'aiq once lived in cyrodill, everybody was always talking about how horrible mudcrabs are. M'aiq hopes he never encounters one of these beasts. (the most common thing npcs talk about in oblivion are mudcrabs)

M'aiq once accidentaly knocked a plate off a table in Cyrodill. M'aiq tried to put it back but M'aiq had to run away before he could put it back properly. (you can't move things around on oblivion without stealing)

How did M'aiq end up in skyrim you ask? M'aiq knocked a gem on the floor and tried to put it back on the display. M'aiq then had to run all the way here from Cyrodill. (same as above)

M'aiq used to think M'aiq was going tonedeath. M'aiq couldn't hear the difference between any 2 people of the same race. M'aiq could not even hear the difference between M'aiq and argonians. (people of the same race had exactly the same voice in oblivion. Argonians and khajit had the same voice aswell)

The only thing Maiq was good at during school was athleticsI. Maiq could run 3x as fast as all the other khajits backwards. Then again, Maiq could run just as fast backwards as forwards. (you can backpeddal in oblivion just as fast as you can run forwards)

Other peoples (only really good ones)

M'aiq thinks that if people love Morrowind so much they should just go back

M'aiq hears some wish not to see spiders. M'aiq thinks these people should wear blindfolds. Problem solved. (Referencing people with arachnophobia complaining about spiders)

M'aiq is glad he is not a mystic. Always with their heads in the clouds, M'aiq prefers a more practical approach. (Referencing people not liking the removal of mysticism)

Some people want M'aiq to live forever. M'aiq thinks he would get bored. Oh wait. (Referencing this thread)

People always used to get really close to M'aiq when talking, now M'aiq have some space to be M'aiq. (about zoom in to talk being removed.)

On M'aiq being in Skyrim 200 years after he was in Cyrodill:

"Be careful around dragons, they are fragile. M'aiq broke one and ended up here! "

About M'aiq living forever and the 200 years since Oblivion - he could have children. Someone on the unofficial forums came up with the suggestion W'aiq the Deceiver. I thought it was really clever so I had to post it here.

Also, I'd like Big Head to make a return, or maybe one of his children like Jumbo Head or something.

M'aiq has cold feet. M'aiq would like to have a fire spell so he can warm up his feet.

It would be cool to have more Ma'iq, but I think the simple and extremely effective method would be this:

You're exploring a cave, and you come across the corpse of a khajiit. You loot it, and find an enchanted, intelligence +15 points Colovian Fur Helm and a note which simply says:

"I told you I saw a dragon.'

Doesn't he usually reference ideas fro fans the devs rejected? Also it's not always bad ideas, I believe he referenced Crossbows and thown weapons in OB did he now? And they are great ideas.

I still think M'aiq is an avatar of an Et'ada. Likely Hermaeus Mora because he knows much, tells some.

It would also help explain why he'd still be alive. :)

M'aiq always hears talk about spears and crossbows, but he never sees them, now M'aiq thinks they are some kind of invisible weapons.

M'aiq knows of a fifth elder scroll specifically made for gamers more hardcoe than you who don't want to hear console talk or less skills where combat and fun and casual exploration has been replaced with stats crunching, inventory management and a crushing grind just to survive, but still features massively expensive graphics and crucial features like AI for the snow and NPCs who are smarter than Stephen Hawking . They could have compromised and made a well selling game that appealed to fans of rpgs and action adventures but apparently that would only appeal to people who like Wii fit and so the few copies sold made the more hardcoe than you crowd feel very smug as they were better than everyone else if judged by their own egocentric criteria. All this in an era where software developers went bust all the time.

M'aiq has never heard tell of a sixth elder scroll.

M'aiq the Liar isnt just a random joker it says his opinion about the lacks of the game like in Oblivion he said something like this:
M'aiq doesnt need throwing axes, if you keep it in your hand only one is enough.
