Ideas for Automatron robot customisation

I felt that there are some ideas that just would be amazing to be in the Automatron dlc.


For example:


- The ability to customise an assault-tron so it can transform into a motorbike.


Any half-vehicle half-battle robot hybrid really.


- A sentry bot, with fat man launchers for arms


- any other robot with missile launcher arms


- A feature of your robots "tricking" other robots. This would mean, for example, if you have a protecton follower, any other protectrons will automatically become allied to you (or at least neutral).


- a self destruct command. Make sure never to install this on your really powerful robot followers.


- Solar panels. they do more damage when in sunlight. say, 50% more.



As a side point, i feel like new perks should be added too. Not on the perk tree maybe, but ones that you get as a reward for one of the quests in the dlc?


Perks like:


- Tech Whiz - You can now hack robots and devices by interacting with them, instead of finding their terminal.


- Solar powered (could also be a modification) - Your robotic companions deal 50% more damage in sunlight.



Also, new power armour upgrades, for example:


- Enhanced EMP shield - Robots that melee attack you have a chance to be instantly deactivated.

I think the Assaultron transforming into a motorbike is a bit of a stretch, but the rest sounds good.

Assaultron



- Laser upgrade having a longer range


- being able to exchange her ripper for a ranged weapon, like a small calibre machine gun or so, or maybe additional laser weapon


- energy shield


- self-repair mechanism that would regenerate her health, also backed by a visual animation of two separate body parts coming together or so


- different melee weapon options


- ability to " mark " enemies for greater armour penetration



Sentry bot



- Ability to dig in literally, and become a static turret and increase armour for the duration of the dig in


- Be able to provide supressing fire, pinning enemies down.


- Targeting Assistance AI, increasing your VATS hit chance and adding more accuracy to " hip-fire " shots.


- Artillery barrage , ordering massive ordnance at cost of accuracy at a distanced target


- replacing one arm with a close combat weapon


- ability to add a heavy flamethrower and heavy shotgun arm




These come to mind so far.

I really really really just hope that it's multiple robots we can own/customize and not just 1 or 2.

But that is something that they only use when all of their arms are crippled, or at a certain point. I am talking about being able to just tell one of your robots "go run at them and explode".
