What do you mean, no pre-war weapons survived? Most weapons we find are stuff that is around now... 10mms, machineguns, assault rifles, combat shotguns, snipers, bats, pipes, combat knives, swords, etc

They should add shock value and fear to the game muahahaha. Most of what I do is just that haha. Ill go into a fight blowing everything up and tossing grenades all over the place while shooting machine gun fire. Then run away do it again when their backs are turned. Muahahaha!!

But seriously some fear based effects would be neat in fallout world I think. Skin a deathclaw and, BOOM, deathclaw raincoat! Send your enemies fleeing in terror and stay dry!

I just meant that they are supposed to be "rare" weapons.. It's the reason that raiders are carrying around homemade pipe weapons and wearing cobbled together junk armor. Just like food, water and other stuffs, we are supposed to believe these things are scarce resources. Meaning you'd think, in a world where all this stuff is supposed to be rare, there would be a larger variety of homemade types of armor and weapons.

Strong, Hancock, and X6-88 probably wouldn't care. X6-88 might be a little disgusted though.
