AA ideas..

On a group call (6 players) discussing ways of changing AA thought I'd write down some of the ideas that we've come up with so far..

-5/6 of us agree that we like having some sort of built-in armor in the suit.

-6/6 agree AA should have more of a downside than costing 1 module.

We feel that any of these ideas or combination would make AA a better part of the game.

With AA enabled:

1. Coming out of cloak Armor would need to regenerate from zero with a short waiting period.

2. Your character should be slower- even with maneuverability.

3. You have to level AA's effectiveness like every other module.

4. AA slows transition speed to Cloak/Armor.

5. Delayed effect of AA- first hit does appropriate damage then AA activates.


So here's what we've come up with, let me know what you guys think..

Those are some good ideas, of course they would all have to get tested to see if they actually play out good. But I agree that as it is right now, Auto-Armor is over powered.

Yup. All I see anymore are AA users running around with Typhoon/Laser/Foregrip.

Developers clearly say that they will not change AA.

yeah..no, since that is the whole point of AA, don't want to get OHK across the whole map by every noob using a sniper or bow
